Germans have always “stunk” - especially the women. Nothing new. Germans, like most Europeans, are not much into bathing regularly.

“Along with my address that you’ve asked about?”

Would that be for your home in Texas, Florida, Georgia, or Russia?

I found Putin’s instructions to Shoigu interesting. Yes, he indicated that the troops responsible for liberating the Donbass should rest and restore combat readiness (likely including setting up the battlefield.) But, he also specifically said the “East” and “West” groups should do the tasks that were planned.

Can’t find anything yet that explains who those groups are or what they have done or are going to do in the plan. I keep trying to look at where troops are moving to see if that sheds any light on it. They mentioned one more small settlement that they had taken...

“WarDonbass
Speech by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at a thematic conference call. The main thing:

▪️The special military operation will continue until the tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief are completed;

▪️Conscripts are not sent to the zone of the special military operation;

◾️Over the past 10 days, 170 foreign mercenaries have been killed in Ukraine, 99 have refused to participate in hostilities and left the country;

◾️The mine danger in the port of Mariupol has been completely eliminated;

◾️The West, hoping to drag out the conflict in Ukraine, continues large-scale arms supplies to Kyiv, more than 28,000 tons of military cargo has already been delivered;

◾️Part of the weapons supplied by the West to Ukraine goes to the Middle East, and also ends up on the black market;

◾️This year, state tests of air-to-air missiles for Su-57 fighters will be completed and serial deliveries will begin;

◾️Military builders of the Russian Federation are involved in the restoration of the DPR and LPR.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recognized the loss of the village of Spornoe.
In addition, Russian troops strike at Zvanovka and Verkhnekamenskoye:
1. A quick capture of Zvanovka will allow the Allied Forces to cut off Seversk from the south and reach the rear of the defensive line of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Seversk - Soledar - Bakhmut
2. The capture of Verkhnekamenskoye opens the road to Seversk

I can say this, though, according to the Ukraine morning report today Russia is shelling everyone, everywhere. And naturally, as usual, lots of missiles last night.

“If you go to Moscow and St. Petersburg, you’d never think there was a war on.”

Fascinating tidbit in here, borrowed from ⁦

⁩: according to official records, out of 3,800 Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine “just eight were from Moscow and 26 from St. Petersburg.” The rest were from smaller, poorer places…

In Russia’s Biggest Cities, Ukraine War Fades to Background Noise
Bars are packed out, film and jazz festivals are sold out and Moscow’s police officers are busier handing out fines for public drinking than putting down dissent

Not surprising, since all Russian media is state-controlled.

Since the majority of those “Russians” being KIAd, wounded aor otherwise being POW / MIA, are not from Moscow or S.P. - the cemetaries of western Russia are not overflowing with fresh graves. But, then again, the Russian leadership has no quams about abandoning their military dead and injured on the battlefield. “Russians” have not the same care for their fighting personnel as do we Americans. “Russian” soldiers (both conscripts and contract) are mere expendable cannonfodder for Putin and his oligarchal leash-holders. Furthermore, it appears that even Russian generals are a dime-a-dozen commodity.

Fascinating.

Wonder what will be "evacuated" next...

This is just a position paper to justify more military aid from the west to Ukraine. All Russia is able to do now is destroy one Ukrainian village at a time at its most advantageous logistic position and Ukraine’s worst logistic position. The idea they will be to blitzkrieg the entire country is fantasy. They already tried that and failed due to corruption and incompetence.

I was hoping you’d post a picture of yourself. You look more intelligent than your posts would suggest.

You come across as a Chairborne Ranger, posting from your mom's basement.

What would we do without experts to tell us the obvious?

The late, great Walter Williams wrote a column many years ago, "Don't Trust the Experts". Excellent column, timely today.

As long as Russia's nuclear weapons and delivery systems are still a credible deterrent to any Chinese ambitions towards the Russian Far East/Siberia, China can only continue the slow invasion currently taking place.

China plays the Long Game and Putin is not long for this world. Russia is currently distracted in the West, but selling oil and other resources to China and India in the East and South.

But make no mistake. If Putin or his successor(s) believe the Motherland to be under threat, either from China or some kind of foolish NATO land war, they will go nuclear.

And while China can absorb massive population and industrial losses, Western Europe and the US cannot.

Poking the Russian Bear without a credible deterrent and a strong leader (certainly not laughable PedoClown) willing to pull the trigger, well, only invites ambition and risks losing everything.

When somebody who can build their own weapons and ammo fights someone who can’t, they tend to win the war in the long run.

You do know that Ukraine has more military manufacturing technology than Russia, right? As a part of the Soviet Union Ukraine was where most of the high tech armaments were built.
