I am all for reasonable, spirited discussion backed up if appropriate with links to references. Links to a video with “watch this” is lazy. The same with people who use as reference sites like Real Raw News, etc.

And low intellect? That’s a small number of FReepers. But a small and vocal group. PS: Humility is not humiliation. Quick story: I was down on myself when I first came to 12-stepping. VERY down on myself. My beloved sponsor observed, “Wow, what an ego!” I objected. He insisted, reminding me that the word humility derives from the Latin “humus”, which means “earth” or “the ground”. It means to be grounded in who you truly are: Neither greater than, NOR LESS THAN, who you truly are.

That was an important lesson for me.
