In the Ukraine conflict, Putin is defending no Christian values: To cast one's support to Putin based on a dislike of George Soros or Joe Biden and all the decadence they have foisted on the West is a big mistake

American Stinker is not much of a Thinker.
So the same media that LIED about Covid, “vaccines, “climate change”, ….. should I go on? That media is to be trusted for a change?
Putin bad
Biden bad
Zelensky bad
Anyone who wants to prop up any of those three is an irresponsible fool.

This guy lives in la la land. America is totally run by demented perverts who are destroying us beyond being able to fix it.

Those perverts are using Ukraine to further their demented agenda. Not wanting anything to do with this Ukraine conflict has somehow become that if you don’t worship Ukraine, you must adore Putin. This is crap thinking.

That agenda DOES NOT include Christians folks. If you think it does you are fooling yourself. If this guy thinks this is all going to get fixed as the result of a rigged election, he is fooling himself.

Russia-Ukraine is kabuki theater designed to divert attention from the Great Reset/Build Back Better campaign that is currently taking place in the majority of western governments.

TPTB need scapegoats to blame for all the misery that will result and the twin boogey-men of Covid and RUSSIA! have served nicely up to this point.

Will that continue? We'll see.

He is fooling himself, or simply polishing his credentials to impress the Neocons.

“In the Ukraine conflict, Putin is defending no Christian values”

I’m old enough to remember when the same Leftists and same Media accused Reagan of also being in bed with the Christian community to push his own agenda.

Some things never change, I guess...

“What is really disturbing is the fact that there are some people who believe that the Ukraine is worth risking a nuclear war for.”

What is more disturbing is that there are some people who believe that we should just abandon all our principles and commitments every time some dictator starts waving a nuke around and making empty threats.

Yes, this Mike neoKonrad has outed himself as a neokoolaid-guzzling cuckservative, all right.

Bet he was NeverTrump in 2016, too.

That’s fair, and I agree.

But also true...

Those who think Russia was wrong to invade Ukraine and are hoping they withdraw or lose, if that’s what it take, doesn’t make them Soros or Biden lovers.

Every time I come to these threads it’s either one side or the other accusing each other of these things.

I wish people would show more class and real news rather than a propaganda fest against each other.

I wish all countries well that have problems - or worse - with their neighbors.

But I don’t feel every problem in the world is worth American treasure and/or blood. I can see why Biden and Hunter ‘owe’ Ukraine (and other ‘elites’ too) but I can’t see why American citizens are on the line for them.

Very few people appear to be pro-Russia or pro-Putin by their comments. Very few Freepers appear to be fooled by Putin's support of the reestablishment of the Orthodox church as anything but an attempt at PR. After all, even Stalin became a fervent Russian nationalist when the Nazis were at the gate.

NATO broke promises and interfered in Ukraine politics ever since the Wall fell down. The West's meddling in Russian politics ultimately led to the rise of the oligarchs because their attempts to secure a free market only made it easier for ex-KGB with all their info and contacts to control the market.

Even though China broke a written contract, for some reason we are not sending arms into Hong Kong. We are not sending arms to the Uighurs or the Tibetans. Instead we destabilize countries like Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Libya.

Those of us who would like to see an end to the conflict in Ukraine, even if it means Ukraine having to agree to humiliating demands, just believe it would be the best course of action. It would minimize the chance of WWIII occurring, and it might ultimately lead to peace in Europe. I can visualize Ukraine, Georgia, Chechnya, Kazakhstan, etc. forming something like the EU with Russia. After that union has stabilized they can then establish stronger ties with the EU.

Ukraine is not a Democracy. We can now see that even the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the USA are no longer functioning Democracies. The Elites have been in charge for quite some time and they are starting to make really big mistakes that could threaten millions or even billions of lives.

The sooner the fighting ends in the Ukraine the sooner average folks around the world can get back to the business of living out their lives and aiming their efforts at the real villains: the Elites in all countries bent on controlling our lives and leading us into a very uncertain future.

We don’t have any commitments to Ukraine nor do principles require us to make Americans suffer for their benefit.

“We don’t have any commitments to Ukraine...”

So sayeth you, but in reality we guaranteed their national sovereignty, a sovereignty that Russia is currently threatening.

“nor do principles require us to make Americans suffer for their benefit”

Principles require that if you have them, you stand on them whether it causes you to suffer or not.

We don’t “support Putin”. We just think Ukraine is a cesspool of corruption, and we think the US should steer clear of it.
