It is an investigation of sorts and can be used for a referral to the DOJ. If we had a functioning DOJ it would be much more than nothing. We haven’t had a functioning DOJ in 14+ years. I don’t understand why people don’t realize that. For example, getting mad at Trey Gowdy was foolish when he did his hearings. He did what he could do within the “rules”. If people really thought about it, they wouldn’t want different “rules”.
