I agree completely. It just crazy that the Russians are the more dependable supplier of energy for themselves and for export. It’s only been a year and half for US energy to go from budding world dominance to world’s energy putz. It unbelievable how damaging DC can be to the American consumer.

Do you perhaps mean C-54s? That, and the venerable C-47, was the most common aircraft used in the airlift. The C-57 Lockheed Lodestar was a limited production aircraft (only about 20 were manufactured in all).
