C’mon. Yachts and private jets are not “investments” they are luxuries. They generally depreciate in value.
Real estate you’d have an argument but clearly these aren’t really investment properties. Its not like he owns several middle class homes and is renting them out like someone investing in real estate as part of his financial plan would do. No. He’s got penthouses in places like NY and Paris and Aspen as well as mansions, etc. These are luxuries.
I’m not a socialist and I’m not inclined to jealousy toward someone for having money and enjoying it. (I would if I had that much). BUT....DO NOT live ultra high on the hog and then tell middle class and working class people that they have to cut their standard of living all while you continue to indulge to the utmost.
I think I read about 30 years ago that Mick Jagger rents just about everything also. Why be saddled with all that weight of possession?
