Gov. DeSantis says doctors need to be accountable for child mutilation

This is my opinion and observation, I am not a psychiatrist.

Growing up is hard. A child has many things to experience and learn. Gender dysphoria (which I don’t believe is even a real term) comes about when someone compares their insides to other’s outsides. A young boy thinks that girls seem to have more fun. They have more friends, wear nicer clothes, are more gregarious, etc. He does not see their internal struggles of growing up. He wishes he could be a girl. But this, should like many things in youth, be a passing fancy. But in todays dangerous liberal world, if the notion that he would like to be a girl is let out, he will now be encouraged to pursue that thought with action to attain his passing fancy. Powerful drugs and mutilation are the result.

By the time the damage is done, it is too late. He ends up being neither boy nor girl. I read that 40% of transgenders commit suicide within 10 years of their transition.

I think a better course for this child is for an adult, maybe even a doctor, to say, “Your notion and passing fancy of becoming a girl is stupid. Stop is.”

Strange how "gender dysphoria" is treated by chemotherapy (blockers and hormones) and invasive surgery (castration and mutilation) instead of simple counseling.
Someone please tell the kids that they will be dysfunctional as either sex, essentially neutered but not in a comfortable way.

DeSantis is right. This dangerous fad has to stop.

Growing up, we all knew boys who were effeminate and girls who were a little masculine. Both were usually OK if left alone.

There's plenty of room in life for sissies and tom-boys. They don't need operations and hormones to change their gender...just leave them alone and give them some counseling if they think they need it.

This gender dysphoria problem sounds the alarm. One wonders if sissies and tom-boys, like BLM blacks, are being preyed upon by the Left as they (the Left) try to drum up problems where none exist just to show how much our culture is effed up.

That 80% figure is exactly why they are so desperate to get kids hormones and surgeries before they hit puberty. They don’t want it to “resolve” on its own. They want these kids permanently recruited into the pervert army.

Boy, DeSantis has the whole Tavistock debacle right now supporting his statements against the woke transgender medical policy. He is going to have world wide support, minus woke minority, for everything he is going to accomplish in protecting children.
