It also appears she was adhereing to Islamic religion in order to keep her husband and was pretty much a Muslim wife. She had formerly quit high school before meeting him in the 8th or 9th grade.
So I don't let the mother off the hook entirely.

She talked them in to coming back. Said she knew he would kill them but she was “scared”……she had left the state but came slithering back to the snake
NO sympathy for HER! She even had family helping her but she used them then went back every time! 🤬
But of course, the ex-wife will still stay a muslim.
And these women wonder why this sh## happened to them and their offspring
