It’s amazing that in a nation that exists only by virtue of revolution against a despotic tyrant, we now find it impossible to imagine the need to do the same. But this can’t be done as some fantasize, with individuals going off vigilante-style on their own crusades. They would most definitely fail. The American revolution wasn’t a disorganized free-for-all. It was a very carefully-considered, last-ditch action led by towering statesmen and backed up by the People’s “liberty teeth.”
What should happen starting TOMORROW, is emergency meetings between those states led by true patriotic governors to consider ALL measures available to them to stop this despotism dead in its tracks. It’s time for the states to exert their power to strangle the tyrannical federal beast. And on the average citizen level, immediate resistance to every facet of federal authority should begin, including refusal by those in logistics, transportation, etc. to deliver to or otherwise serve the needs of D.C. or any federal offices located elsewhere. This is an illegitimate government; time to start treating it that way. And should the feds refuse to relent, then these same governors should remind them that our “liberty teeth” remain razor sharp, that the federal government exists only via the consent of the governed, the People, and that we will revoke that consent, by force if necessary. “But what about the damage that could do to our system?” As of tonight, we have no functioning system to protect. At this point, we will have to rebuild it from the foundation up, and to do so requires first eliminating the termites that have hollowed it out.
One thing is beyond debate now: The leftists and their establishment GOP co-conspirators will not relinquish power willingly. Take a moment to fully absorb that obvious fact and its clear implications.
Just think what would have happened if Trump had managed to overcome the cheating and had prevailed in the 2000 election. (He would have gotten the JFK treatment.)
The Marines standing by the door could hardly keep straight faces. They were ready to bust out laughing.

My suggestion would be DON'T GO.
There isn't any point in peaceful protests. Politicians simply ignore them. Violent protests are the only actions that have any effect these days. And most of those are sponsored indirectly by the Government to intimidate political opponents. Others are honeypot traps (See Jan 6 for worked examples). You cannot run in those crowds without being tagged by volunteer snitches and Government agents. And some of them will offer you "jobs" or "projects" too. You may have a lot of trouble if you refuse such offers and even more if you accept them.
Strict "burner" cell phone discipline is practically impossible to maintain in a group and it only takes one person screwing up to expose the entire group. Active units can be identified and intercepted in real-time, while also leaving call and location records searchable for at least 90 days. Some phones remain active even after they are supposedly turned off. Using burners is a plan for failure.
The ANTIFA coordinator guys use earbud radios with frequency hopping or encryption features. Pricey, but very hard to intercept or track. Ordinary CB radios work well too, because they are hard to trace back to definitive owners. The low-level mules who deliver supplies to the rioters might be using their own personal cell phones, but nobody cares much. The Feds aren't looking for them. They will be looking for you if you show up at one of their festivals.
Masking is always a good idea at a festival. It gives you more time to find the exits before the major event, since you are harder to identify and intercept. Surgical masks are indeed perfect camouflage. But remember, it is better to leave the party early than late. Hanging around to watch the fun is a mistake.
Any weapon you bring to a festival is going to be a problem if you use it or even display it. It does not matter how "justified" that use may be. It is safer to travel in small packs of 3-4 people and stick together. Quick exit is your best bet in any case of violence. The police are not your friends. In general, they are going to follow orders from people who are your enemies.
Plan accordingly.
Stay safe.

I take part of the widely shared blame for doing nothing of substance to defend President Trump. Doing nothing of substance to avenge Ashley Babbit. Doing nothing of substance to deal with the stolen election. Doing nothing other than blather along with the rest of us.
but all of us — myself included — won’t lift a heavier weapon than a keyboard or a smartphone or a computer mouse or a TV remote to defend a United States that is even less free today than the 13 colonies were prior to 1776.
Yet I don’t despair. Washington didn’t despair on Christmas Day 1777. Lincoln didn’t despair in April 1861. Churchill didn’t despair in July 1940. Roosevelt didn’t despair on Christmas Eve 1941. Reagan didn’t despair in August 1976 or early 1980.
They didn’t quit. And I know that we won’t quit.
Don’t skip over the secession part. We may be able to split peacefully. But split we will.
Divide. No one need die. Act like adults.
Yankees are cowards. The Blues don’t have the stones to fight. No one want to die to keep a state(s) in the union.
