The state AG just sent a letter to the FBI telling them, in not too vague of terms, to bugger off.
It is illegal in Mo to provide any such info beyond the actual Sheriff, himself.

Thank-you for the clarification.

"Wood, 52, served as U.S. attorney for Missouri’s Western District from 2007 to 2009 and before that held key roles in the George W. Bush administration. He was working as general counsel for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce when he stepped down in September to become senior investigative counsel for the Jan. 6 committee. He resigned that post Friday."

Now he's running as an Independent for a Missouri Senate seat while claiming to be a right-leaning Republican. Seems the Republicans there don't think much of him, preferring to run scandal-plagued former Gov. Eric Greitens. Talk about a hold-your-nose election.

Holding our nose doesn’t seem to be working. I’m so tired of these “choices”.

Technically we are. People don't need a permit but can get one if they want the benefit of reciprocal carry in other states.

Having one also (at least in TX) allows you to skip the NICS check wait.
