Sorry. This turnip is tapped out. Mother Government has done nothing but WASTE my tax dollars since I paid my first income taxes at age 15.

And if you don’t pay the fair share we demand you pay, remember we just added 87,000 armed agents to our enforcement branch ... you do the math.

Well, it’s a half truth, a fairly typical kind of DemocRat lie. I don’t mind paying my fair share, but it’s fair share of what?

If we were asked to pay only for things that were necessary, useful, and not wasteful, very few would object. But then, our tax bill would be 90% lower, wouldn’t it?

I love the America in Exile, not this current mess of corporatism, corruption, and oppression.

Any time these babbling buffoons start squawking about people needing to pay their fair, they need to be challenged and asked to define what fair share is. They can’t define it and they won’t even try. A few years ago I was watching FOX, and a babbler said people need to pay their fair share. The host asked her to define fair share. The babbler balked and didn’t even attempt to define it.

If the Federal government operated under the laws and rules of private businesses in relation to fiscal accountability, all members of Congress along with the members appointed/elected in the Executive Branch including EVERY agency employee would be arrested and convicted beyond a reasonable doubt for insider trading, making false and misleading statements/misrepresentation of a material fact, intent to deceive, misappropriation of funds, accounting fraud, etc...

Before they even request one penny from the taxpayer they need to solve their (Not talk about solving) internal corruption, mismanagement, waste, fraud, and abuse of financial resources. Until then,

Dear Rep. Quising: When illegal aliens are provided taxpayer funds and benefits, are they required to pay their fair share?

My share would be much less if we started cutting spending. Did he mention that? Or that really we’ve printed enough money for us all to be millionaires but still they always need more

Your “fair share” is defined by democrats to mean “however much we can forcibly extract from you.”

The only fair tax is the tax that taxes you and not me.

I own my own property-—free & clear.

I bought my first house in 1966, at age 26.

Inherited a property when Dad died in 1980.

Bought a 2nd house in 1989 & still owned both of above.

Bought this house in 2005.

Due to overlapping ownerships, I have paid out 88 + years of PROPERTY TAXES in 56 years of ownership.

I am ONLY 82.

I had no kids-—NEVER used a penny of the school systems I have paid into.

I HAVE paid taxes for income-—sales taxes—federal & state fuel taxes & lots of other taxes.

Have driven over 1 MILLION miles-—THAT is a lot of fuel taxes.

The problem IS NOT the PAYMENT of taxes by the citizens...

The PROBLEM is the way those taxes are squandered by petty politicians who are more like thieves than leaders.

This “thief” can GTH.

Dear Reprobate Quigley. IF you love this country, one of the things you take most seriously is being very, very careful not overspend the money that the citizens have allowed you use - from their personal earnings. It's their money. NOT yours. Clown.

There is no stupid like elected office stupid.

The trillions in COVID stimulus spending while the US Treasury bonds remain at about 3% proves the essential fact of Modern Monetary Theory. The government doesn’t need your tax money to pay for anything. It simply goes to the Federal Reserve who transfers whatever they need to the Treasury so they can “spend” it. The real reason that the government taxes us is to ensure that we must use the $USD currency created by the Fed so that the monetary system is closed and their is almost no leakage to other sovereign debt systems. They also can use tax money to suck excess cash out of the public sector to control inflation.

The real battle among the political classes is who gets sucked and who doesn’t (otherwise known as the distribution of wealth). The tax laws are written so that people or corporations who have money are “motivated” to spend or invest it in public goods as an offset to paying it back to the government. This is a good thing and creates jobs and infrastructure that benefits the people who don’t have a lot of wealth.

The people who buy or lease private jets and huge yachts and villas are employing and training a lot of people in the process. If they don’t spend the money on real things they cache it away in things like T-bonds or stocks which doesn’t benefit ordinary people. This is why the things like carry interest and the lower capital gains rate are creating a greater wealth gap and should be eliminated.

Almost no one is Washington understands how money really works and they are content to play political games based on the now debunked “pay-as-you-go” fantasy that is destroying the wealth of America and causing unnecessary suffering.
