That's what's frustrating is Ron DeSantis is showing every (R) governor how to fight and win!
Less that four years ago, DeSantis barely squeaked by in a nail biter against a meth-using gay orgy participant and today, he has solidified near total conservative control in Florida from top to bottom. His re-election is so assured, Charlie Crist is telling Floridians not to even bother voting for him.
And DeSantis is making it look easy! Fight! And then win!
Why every (R) governor isn't doing this just mystifies me. DeSantis should not be the rare exception. He should be the benchmark for how Republican governors should execute policy and enact change!

I’d like to see how the school responds to a kid who wants to be named “Adolf Hitler”. Or “Donald Trump”. Or “Kyle Rittenhouse”.

A lot of society doesn’t view LGBQT as a delusion.
Ok. A teacher should be able to discuss a child’s behavior to their boss and then she and the boss, mainly the boss, can take it wherever it needs to go. This discussion should not include the teacher’s beliefs on our society’s current hotbutton issues.
Truthseeking and calming situations is the priority.
We value people that confront the powerful but fine, as long as they realize the risks they are taking.

A child with any “delusion” that might be a roadblock to their future deserves to be heard, not in a public event or media article, in private.
They deserve to give their side of the story, one on one, to a parent, teacher, minister, etc. Sometimes the child can’t be convinced. Adult helpers need to stick with him.
