Do WELFARE PAYMENTS count as “INCOME”?????
Yes, I reread it just last year.
They are going to package these exploding cigar loans and sell them to retirees and pension funds as “fixed income securities,” and peddle then as “safer than stocks”.
Bank of America is not going to be at risk for the loans. They will package them and sell them to pension funds and 401k portfolios as “income funds”.
Question for anyone about my situation.
House next door in foreclosure/disrepair.
Little black guy shows up, says a bank has “deeded” him the property for a short sale.
He doesn’t move in, he rents it to some white hillbillies who are supposed to “fix up” the house.
The hillbilly renters have done nothing to fix up the home, mowed the yard once in 2 months.
What the hell is happening here?
Here comes the Barney Frank crap all over again! Move vote buying!
I'm a white, 75 year old female, who never owned a home. Raised my two sons alone in apartments. I would have loved a home when my kids were younger, so we didn't end up moving so often, but I couldn't afford the down payment, or maintenance costs. By the time I was able to afford to buy a house, I didn't need one anymore, because my kids had already left the house. By then, I didn't want the responsibility of owning a home. And now that I'm on the tail-end of my life, I'm glad I don't own a home, so my kids won't be burdened with having to get rid of it when I die, especially since neither of them lives near me.
Will they be able to use section 8 vouchers as source of income???

In 20 years of lending I haven’t seen that used .
If getting that type of income the credit would probably be too low to get a loan .
These people getting the grants to have to have acceptable credit and income .
Credit is normally the biggest limiting factor for black homebuyers and pretty much everyone.

Fannie Mae underwriting guidelines (which all lenders use), do allow public assistance income to be counted .
I have used it on loan in 20 years.
The guy is disabled and gets food stamps and we were able to document the income for underwriting .
Wow, history repeating itself so soon, as if it is deliberate.
