My reaction was the same as yours...a modern day horror story.
This article merely revealed to me there is a large sub-culture and cult of insane people who believe this garbage. It seems to be all funded by government at some level or another.

Very true, and to then publicize your admission is even more difficult.
I think it was also good of her to bring out some of the issues with social transitioning as well.
I saw that documentary. A machine used for his circumcision caused the damage. He was raised as a girl, and he was given hormone pills around puberty, but he always felt different. IIRC, when his parents finally confessed to him later, he was so relieved. He began dressing as a man, and he had surgery to restore the part of his body that was damaged. He married a woman who already had children. Then, he died - I can’t remember how, either.
Unfortunately, leftists sometimes point to his story for their agenda. They ignore the fact that he physically was a boy, but everyone else was fooling him into believing he was a girl.
His story is happening to many little children today. They weren’t damaged in circumcisions, but they are fooled into believing they’re the opposite sex. Then they’re tricked into hormone treatments and body part removal.
As a group single mother families are the worst off all across the board.
