Media can now finally stop ignoring Serena Williams’ rotten behavior

“I swear to God, I’ll f–king take this ball and shove it down your f–king throat!.” — Serena Williams before a national and international TV audience to lineswoman Shino Tsurubuchi during the 2009 US Open.
Well, we media folks have done it again. We’ve taken indisputable, recurring and conspicuous facts and buried them to create a sustainable fiction in service to nervous, cautious lies.
“Had anyone acted like Williams in Court’s day they wouldn’t have been around for long. A different world.“
Right after the Margaret Court. Came along the biggest asshole that ever lived in tennis and that’s Johnny Mac. Poncho Gonzalez had his bad boy moments but Johnny Mac walked away with the grand prize.
Shino Tsurubuchi missed her opportunity to have Serena Williams arrested for assault. #believeallwomen
I miss watching Anna Korikova

Rev Dr Margaret Court
I read that article the night she lost & thought it was a good one.
I am with Margaret Court.
She has class, something that Serena Williams and her sister never even attempted to develop.
It’s really difficult to compare eras in Golf & Tennis in particular. The equipment, courses and general level of competition are so much different. If you handed prime Margaret Court a modern tennis racket and put her on a fast surface I’d wager that there aren’t too many modern female players that could hang with her.
I think you mean Billie Jean King. Martina was a teenager in Czechoslovakia at the time.
The same would be true of Jack Nicklaus, he used a persimmon driver if I’m not mistaken, during most of his PGA career.
The other thing about golfers from that era, the money was not comparable, today everyone for the most part looks the same in terms of their swings, etc...back in the Nicklaus era, Lee Trevino and Arnold Palmer had swings that people would laugh at today, but they won and won big.
It’s my impression that back then, the equipment, coaching and training were so much different than today.
Court is recognized for her achievements as a tennis player. She chose to speak out against homosexuals, same sex marriage, apartheid, and people chose to hold it against her.
Maybe we should call Serena Ms. Racquet... or Ms. Racket for all the noise she makes on and off the court.
“The same would be true of Jack Nicklaus, he used a persimmon driver if I’m not mistaken, during most of his PGA career.’
I looked that up & came across a story about Dustin Johnson using a persimmon driver and it reduced his distance off the tee by 26 yards. They list DJ’s average drive at 316 which ranks him #6 on the Tour. (They measure everything these days) The courses have gotten longer to compensate... many of them.
Serena checks the right boxes.
True, McEnroe blew the roof off whenever he lost his temper. Still, he was a serve and volley Master in his day. To give him some credit he went to many therapists trying to control his temper. Being married to Tatum Oneal, a coke and heroin user, didn’t help. John admits to using coke and pot trying to calm his temper. Not sure the coke was a good idea but he may have picked that up from his buddy Kieth Richards.
Age and his current wife, Patty Smyth, seem to have mellowed him a bit. But he still speaks his mind.

Margaret Court is Australian. The woman who beat Serena Williams, Ajla Tomljanovic, is an Australian citizen (born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1993, to a Croatian father and a Bosnian mother).
I loved watching Graf play. She seemed a racehorse compared to the other women.
Thank you!
