Cauliphonyans bring Cauliphonya to Colorado. Montana, Idaho and Wyoming are next thanks to those idiots who made those Yellowstone TV shows.

You need to be reminded that the left intends for all their actions to kill America.

Add that to catalytic converter theft. Catalytic converter thefts in Colorado increased by more than 5,000% from 2019 to 2021, going from 189 to 9,811 reported thefts annually, according to the Colorado Auto Theft Prevention Authority. In Denver, catalytic converter thefts rose by 15,000% in the same timeframe — from 15 to 2,359 — according to data from the Denver Police Department.

Kia and Hyundai are being stolen in high numbers here in SoCal. Their security systems are apparently easy to hack.

Ditto here in WA state. Hondas, especially old ones like my 2000 Civic - are child's play for the thieves.

Seeing cras drive around with NO license plates are a dead give away they are stolen. A regular sight.

Cops can't stop them because the new "laws" say they have no probable cause to think the car was stolen (they did not see the act of crime happen so no crime other than a moving violation, which is also not prosecuted because of "covid" limitations of the courts).

I don’t know exactly how the insurance companies recoup their losses on these Colorado thefts, whether they raise Colorado rates only, or spread it out regionally or nationally- Does anyone else know?

That is one aspect of the criminal justice system debate that seems to get overlooked a lot. Deterrence. People seem to get hung up on arguing whether or not the system can “rehabilitate” or just punish. It’s just just the punishment for a crime that is justice, it is also the deterrence it causes, and that factor is easy to quantify by comparing policies, conviction rates, and crime rates.

It isn't rocket science. If you don't punish criminals, or even make an effort to discourage them, they don't stop committing crimes.

Indeed, you cannot have a revolving door (recidivists) for the small percentage committing the crimes, take them off the streets. The additional bonus is that accountability would serve as a deterrent.

Soft on crime DA’s are responsible for this.

The DS and $oro$ are using the anarchy caused by lawlessness to up end our society so then we’ll beg for their solution to end it and sacrifice our freedoms for safety.

This little 10 minute video explains EXACTLY what we are seeing today. We are living this.

Democrat areas are not holding repeat criminals, who perpetuate crimes, accountable.. thus violent crime in Colorado in 2020 was 35% higher than in 2011.
