I would guess Elton is going. He’s a family friend and a knight and British. He may be friends with the wrong side of the family. Remember you have all the Dukes going. Probably most of the upper government and Some of the lords. Then the leaders of state from the commonwealth and territories. And lots of family. The Abby also has lots of statues and caskets of her predecessors. Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth the first are there. Then there are royals from the rest of the EU which are relatives too. And then heads of government from the EU as well as other countries like the US. I am guessing that Japans emperor and MP are invited as well.
I read the same. The media want to make it look like a slight to Trump. In reality, the number of people simply must be limited for the funeral. As much as I despise Biden, he currently holds the office of POTUS. If the Royals had invited Trump, too, they would’ve been slighting the other former presidents. They made the right decision.

Maybe Charles was hoping that some heads of state would back out and not come to the funeral. Who knows... Whatever the case, it sounds like a security nightmare.

Boy, I hope Trump shows up at the personal invitation of the Queen. She met Biden, so she’d know how blown away the deep state would be at his arrival. Maybe that would keep Biden from publicly pooping.
