There are plenty of criticisms people can make about Zelensky, but the guy was central to Ukraine not folding. That video he took in the streets of Kyiv early on, with his grim looking ministers/officials with him. "I am here. Sergey is here....", was up there with Bush and the megaphone after 9/11. Just exactly how you rally a country. And this is another great line.

The exact sentiment that made Russia so damn stubborn in WW2 is making those Ukrainians so damn stubborn now. And good for them.

Zelinsky isn’t a Nazi. But Azov and the SBU are. And they dominate the armed forces of Ukraine and directly dictate to Zelinsky. Z ran on a platform of implementing Minsk and stopping the artillery attacks on the Donbass. Azov is on video a year ago telling him to his face that if he tries to make them pull out their heavy weaponry or redeploy to the west, they would hang him from a tree on kreschatic street in Kiev.

Nazi thinking runs Ukraine and it’s why they get along with DC and the EU leaders, almost half of which have 3rd Reich grandpas.
