Bravo, and a fine ass that was.
As usual you’ve proven your inability to read. Where was that megatonnage threatened in the article? Escalation isn’t something you ride at the mall. Escalation has been occurring over the the last six months exactly as predicted. You’re too busy dining at your media masters’ trough to look up and notice. It is about to be escalated by the Russians for the first time. Oh, never mind, here they come with another shovel full for your trough.
“I think stupid is idiots who predict fantastic ultimate realties as certainties.”
That’s what you just did in your full post.
Are you a stupid idiot according to your metrics?
Russia will strike at NATO staging areas to stop these tide turning weapon systems. This is an escalation that, if responded to, will continue the spiral. We aren’t that many rungs on the ladder away from theater nukes or EMP or some such.
“ Put down the bong.”
________
Did you think of that response all by yourself? Of course, you did.
NATO (corrupt Obama gang) has been running Ukraine since 2012. I’m sure they’ve been a perfect neighbor. Imagine Mexico and Russia announcing that Mexico is about to become the thirtieth Warsaw Pact nation, Britain and Canada being 28 and 29. This would be announced by Putin and the new Russian installed Mexican stooge president. Imagine that happening in 2017. What would Trump have done? That is a 100% correct analogy.
The best weaponry NATO has is not in Ukraine. They are mostly getting a bunch of cold war era crap, ex-Soviet weapons and a relative handful of modern MLRS and artillery. We have held back on western Main Battle Tanks, Infantry Fighting Vehicles, Fighter and Attack Jets, combat drones or air defense systems other than MANPADS. We're giving them just enough to defend themselves and very, very little of "our best". The most modern weapons we have provided are intelligence, surveillance and planning.
You do realize that Ukraine was not even offered the chance to join NATO, and knew it was years away at a minimum, when Putin attacked?
Ukraine’s chances of joining NATO are Slim and None, and Slim just left town.
Do the security guarantees also go for people in the Donbass who don’t want to be pounded with artillery any longer from the Ukrainians? Or be ethically cleansed?
They also gave them 80 brand spanking new MIG-21 supersonic fighters, the newest and most modern fighter the USSR had, and hundreds of MIG-15/17s from USSR and China. That on top of 35 SAM Battalions, tanks, artillery, etc. But somehow we refrained from attacking them with nuclear weapons.
Well, AFU has received *some* of our best stuff. We sent them at least on COBRA unit recently. Which is sweeeet. We’ve already seen rashists posting on social media complaining about counterfire coming back at them in 60 seconds.
Real easy way for this war to end: Russia can just go home.
He’s a drama queen, and those are not our best weapons.
LOL, learning the language of the country you live in, is now 'ethically cleansed'. Okay
Right, they do have 1 COBRA, expecting 5 eventually. Those 5 will still only cover a tiny fraction of the front lines. They should get their first western air defense system by the end of the year, a German IRIS-T system. It should be enough to defend 1 medium size city.
I suspect Russia could effectively end the war by simply going back to territory they held 24 Feb. As much as Ukraine might want to fight for their 2014 borders, I suspect the west would tell them they would be on their own.
February 20, 2022:
THE VICE PRESIDENT BUMPER-HITCH POLISHER OF THE UNITED STATES: Let me start by saying I appreciate and admire President Zelenskyy’s desire to join NATO. And one of, again, the founding principles of NATO is that each country must have the ability — unimpaired, unimpeded — to determine their own future, both in terms of their form of government and, in this case, whether they desire to be a member of NATO.
And I’ll put that in context, because the obvious is also the point, which is that: and therefore no other country can tell anyone whether they should or should not join NATO. That should be their independent choice. That is the point of sovereignty. So I respect President Zelenskyy’s desire to be a member of NATO.
NATO is a membership. It is about nations coming together as a group, making decisions collectively around, again, principles and what will be, then, the conditions and — and the standards of membership. And so that is the process.
It doesn’t happen overnight. No one country can say “I want to be, and therefore I will be.” And no one country can say “You can’t be.” And isn’t that at the heart of the very issue we’re presented with in terms of Russia’s aggression, or stated aggression, toward Ukraine?

This is what happens when Kammy uses her mouth for things other than what Willie Brown trained it for.
Note the date, and note the start date of the Special Military Operation...
Jeebus. Putin did not pull the trigger on the invasion because of something *Kammy* said.
Please ask your doc to adjust the Thorazine dosage.
Did you happen to watch the “impeachment hearings”? Remember, when the people from the Obama gang in Kiev, NSC and State who were running Ukraine “impeached” Trump for turning over the rock they were transacting business under? What do you suppose Obama and his henchmen were doing in Kiev from 2012 on? Did you happen to notice the FALSE campaign of lies waged against Russia for the last five years and the oft and aggressively stated goal of regime change in Moscow. Of course, why would Russia mistrust NATO. Remember, “not one inch east of reunited Germany” NATO (James Baker to Gorbachev, 1991)? All this started when Putin noticed.
