You do realize the Democrats only win in California because they cheat, right? Notice how when the California citizens actually have a direct vote they do things like vote against gay marriage, four times in a row no less!!!
Man, I sure hated that movie. Seems like they played it once a month on the Saturday TV movie matinee. Of course, this when we only had 3 network channels and 1 independent.

BUT-—BUT-—that hay gets delivered with a TRUCK-—over 90,000 # on a load at one time.
WHO is building ELECTRIC trains & HOW LONG does it take to recharge such a locomotive???
The only likely option is CNG with parasitic diesel. CNG/diesel has two tanks, one with highly compressed methane (natural gas) and a small one with diesel. Separate injectors introduce the appropriate volumes of methane and diesel, which are then compressed. The small amount of diesel replaces the spark plug and ignites the fuel mix with methane providing most of the energy to move the truck.
The above diesel/methane approach will also work for replacing bunker fuel in large ships.

What we need right now is a Citizens Initiative to bolster this new plan they have:

Yeah I do. Lived there myself from 69-74. Beautiful place. Some system could be set up whereby honest people could be allowed across the wire into free states. But it seems like doing any business with anyone in that state just lets the tyranny fester.
So what they do is, put wind turbines on each car to charge the batteries as they are running down the track. They self charge. Easy peasey.
These people are totally demented and dangerous. I ran into a fellow who worked for GM. We had a discussion about the latest electric car mandates happening. I mentioned diesel trucks and the trucking industry. He said we are years away from battery technology to support such.

How about all the back up gensets for hospitals, popo stations, cell towers, nuke power plants, etc., etc.
Those all burn diesel, propane or nat gas.
It is convenient the Pacific is right there, the lemmings do no have far to go before they jump.
