Back in 1973 (I think) me and my buds were heading over the Walt Whitman to The Spectrum to see Johnny Winter in concert. The DJ on WMMR said "there is a new band opening for Johnny tonight called Bad Company with lead singer Paul Rogers from Free." Great show. Rogers was playing a Les Paul Junior and singing when his feet got tangled in cords and he fell flat on his back! He got up kept singing and didn't miss a beat.

My first real guitar (not a Tesco) was a white 65 Strat with original tweed case I bought at a music store (it was a trade in) in 1975 for 350 dollars.
