How many Jews are allowed to live in Palestinian-controlled territory like Gaza? How many Jews would be allowed to live in a newly-created Palestinian state? Oh, we’ve already been told the answer. A ‘Palestine’ would be Judenfrei. So much more progressive than ‘apartheid’.

Yes they referred to themselves at one time as either Jordanians or South Syrians. A time before that they were basically citizens of the Ottoman Empire. It was Israelis that actually referred to themselves as Palestinians.

According to my 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica article on Palestine, the only people in the area that consider themselves “Palestinian” are the nomadic shepherds. The rest identify with one of the neighboring Islamic states.

Not surprising. She’s still wrong. It’s not apartheid. The Palestinians by and large don’t want to be part of Israel. Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Africans and everyone else who takes Israeli citizenship get full rights as citizens. Those who refuse citizenship don’t. That’s true in every country.

They dispute the land. That’s not apartheid. And without Israel the Palestinians would have no currency, no water, no electricity, no natural gas supplies, no shipping port, no airport, and would lose their largest trading partner. They would also have nobody else to blame for their plight.
