Shapiro’ sis Philly area… lives and came up politically there.
I would expect Shapiro signs to be huge in number in the Philly area.
Honestly in SWPA haven’t been a lot of ads (relatively speaking for either candidate) for governor. Som pac ads against Mastriano but very little direct Shapiro ads or Mastriano ads.
Mastriano has been behind the 8 ball from the start because he was always going to have to not only run against the democrats but against the establishment republicans as well.. who were never going to do anything more than some public token support at most. While actively working to make him lose behind the scenes.
For Mastriano to win was always going to take a grass roots miracle.. and it sure doesn’t look like the establishment money is going to spend a single dime to support him. They are happy to have Shapiro win rather than Mastriano.
That’s the truth about PA politics at the statewide level. The Pa GOP are impotent and feckless… abs have zero interest in conservatives other than their vote abs will actively destroy anyone truly conservative running for statewide office.
Mastriano was always going to be a long shot
All the people saying that Barnette would win in PA are absolutely nuts. We’d be completely writing off PA if she were the candidate!

An American First canidate can win in PA. They just have to run a good campain. Trump won twice.
No, they cannot, because they have no money to run on and corporate money won’t be spent on them. Trump is rich and could finance his own campaign (btw how much has he given these candidates exactly...pretty close to zero). Also Trump won by the skin of his teeth against the worst candidate ever in Hillary and lost in 2020. Yes, there was fraud but his margin was still close enough to steal.

It’s a paradox isn’t it? You represent the workers and you have no money because they cannot afford to give money. You gotta have money to win elections! So many on here saying they are unwilling to donate to candidates because they don’t have the money. Well then don’t surprised when our side loses then!
DeSantis could win this state, and so could Teump in 2024. Fetterman is too far left for PA. Shapiro is running as a fiscal conservative!! This state is NOT CA or NJ.
Well, if he can pull off a Crip Walk at the debate he’ll put the lie to the rumors about his medical condition and win handily. :)
Also doesn’t help that he decided to wear a confederate uniform at a non civil-war event. Barletta would have been a much better candidate. And DeSantis...like anyone else...wouldn’t win without money being spent on their campaign.

Never understood the Mastriano vote. I just didn’t think he’d play statewide. That, and a HORRIBLE CAMPAIGN, and he toast, and so is the state
