An AUP notice recently went out in error that included incorrect information.
Seems to me that for posting misinformation PayPal now owes their users $2,500 each.

Another thing you can do if you must keep a pp account is to remove all your CC information only entering it with each purchase. That way they should not be authorized to use your CC as they please.
Never, never give them your bank account information for direct withdrawal. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Never.

I closed my account today, I’m a small time user but a regular customer since 2014.
Before I closed I called customer service. The PayPal woman said it was not true they were dining 2500 and they never intended the policy be issued. That some “individual” just did this on their own.
