I don’t recall reading about it at the time, but I did find
a link here:
https://www.counterpunch.org/2003/09/17/wesley-clark-and-waco/
Man (men?) working under Clark did advise some people about
what part the military could play in the situation, as well
as equipment that might be used.
I can’t verify this site’s info on the spot, so you might want to go
easy on giving this too much credibility. It does get you
an overview of what the issues were regarding Clark, and
you can take it from there.
I searched “Wesley Clark Branch Davidian”. There were other
articles out there.
Well, there was that military tank deployed to the scene.
Boy, did her parents’ fail.
It was 2 days and according to Judicial Watch, it doesn’t look like her family was involved in the decision.
Very curious as to why the government wanted the body destroyed so quickly. We have the whole “murder” captured on video. I have watched it a few times myself and it’s still available to be watched. Why didn’t the government take the video and destroy it like they usually do when it implicates their wrongdoing? Weird why they wanted the evidence the body could produce destroyed but not the video evidence.
By the way, are any of the dozen or so people in that area when Babbitt was shot, including the person that filmed it from various angles, rotting in a jail cell because they were in the capital trying to break into the Senate chambers?
Thanks for the correction.
If Babbitt was role playing, everything lines up. But that’s an unacceptable discussion point.
Some brick walls aren’t worth trying to break through — and this is one of them.
Searched: Tanks at Waco
This popped up.
Craig told jurors that military vehicles used by the F.B.I.
in the Branch Davidian operation included seven Bradley
armored personnel carriers, four 54-ton combat engineering
vehicles, two M-1 Abrams battle tanks, and a tracked
maintenance recovery vehicle.
Unreal... and as we surmised, they could have picked him up while he was jogging.
And so the family had no say? It was not their request? The “government” just had her remains cremated without any input from the family?
Or perhaps you don’t know that.
Yeah, that’s it - you don’t know. You’re just speculating.
Yep.
He and the sheriff used to go to breakfast together once in
a while.
The sheriff said, “I’ve never had any problem with him or
the people out at the Davidian farm.” Paraphrased...
I don’t think the Sheriff knew he could tell the “outsiders”
to get the hell out of his county. In all honesty, I don’t
know at what point he loses that power, if he does at all.
I’m not sure that he ever does.
This rogue operation should have been stopped dead in its
tracks > IMO.
That’s not at all what it looks like - at all.
That’s a conclusion you are suggesting based on speculation at best.
How about this - contact the husband and see if HE requested the cremation? Yes? No?
See my post 44. There is a link to what Judicial Watch was able to find out through a document request.
From the following link, NOT MY WORDS:
“What made the DC Medical Examiner’s office think they had the right to cremate Ashli’s body for political reasons without obtaining permission from her family or speaking to them about it at all?
Will the Medical Examiners office be investigated for this? Will we get any answers at all about their process?”
I read the info at the link.
I also reviewed the redacted cremation application receipt. You or I don’t know who that application is for. It doesn’t list the requesting party or even who the deceased is.
In other words it’s speculation.
I recently read at FR that sheriff’s have extensive Constitutional power. I believe it was Hostage that raised the point.
I can’t think of one instance within the US where a group of average people organized a devastating attack on others. But with the exception when it concerns govt employees unjustly and violently attacking citizens
Re: 52 - understand.
They are the words of a hack web site. By hack web site. I mean they are completely speculating that not only was the document related to a cremation request for Babbitt, but that the government had her cremated for political purposes - and all without a shred of evidence. Yet the hack writers make the claims.
What part of the Government employs you?
Yeah, the family phoned it in... /s
You’re demonstrating a greater attachment to Babbitt than her family. But that’s okay — you’re in the vast majority.
IIRC, Judicial Watch was involved in the disclosure of the hasty cremation.
Why are you challenging us?
I’m challenging the speculation based on scant evidence.
Did JW contact Babbit’s husband to see if he requested the cremation? Doesn’t that seem a reasonable thing to do?
