excerpted:
“....India should expect the defeat of the US and NATO, which completes the transition to a multipolar world order. Sadly, Indian elites are yet to purge their ‘unipolar predicament’. Europe, including Britain, is devastated and there is palpable discontent over the US’s ‘transatlantic leadership’. Indo-Pacific strategy is hopelessly adrift. New power centres are emerging in India’s extended neighbourhood, as the OPEC’s rebuff to Washington shows. A profound adjustment is needed in the Indian strategic calculus....”

(Contracted price for long-term Russian supply for Germany used to be about $280 per 1,000 cubic metres as against the current market price hovering around $2,000.) Smart.

Biden is incompetent, and the EU is full of trash pushing green energy. Power is shifting to the east and non European countries.
I would assume countries paid attention when the SWIFT switch was thrown.
It sends a terrible message. (I think on purpose)

This is not atypical of India. India was closely aligned with the USSR when it existed (for one reason India saw the USSR as a foil against China). India also has a well-deserved animosity towards the West in general and to the UK in particular, such that it sees any close ally of the UK through the same lens it sees the UK.

It seems a number of countries are following suit. We need a Trump. Nations may like or dislike him but they all respect him.

The United States should have allied with Russia against Ukraine, like we did in World War II. Instead, we sided with the Nazis this time.

I meant this one source, not all of India, I don’t know how they feel.

I actually get most of my news about Ukraine from Indian news sources, as they seem the most objective.
