The usual suspects here celebrated when World War II victory monuments to the Russian army get destroyed.
Good point on the tit-for-tat response by the Russians.
And no I'm not pro-Ukraine. I'm just pointing this stuff out.
They are about getting the weepy emotional response from the weaklings who so want to be able to claim the moral high ground.
They think it is only terrible when it happens to them but they ignore or don’t care and when it happens to others.
Totally not self aware while engaging in sickening hypocrisy.

I think the positions are more varied than that, but the knee-jerk response seems to be “If you don’t agree with me, you must be supporting Ukrainian/Russian evil interests.”
As for me, I want our politicians focusing primarily on domestic issues, and protecting our borders first, instead of using this conflict to distract from the failings of this administration.
I’m also disappointed that there doesn’t seem to be any call for diplomacy, but just ratcheting up of the war rhetoric.
- Russian missile and drone strikes continue for over a week, knocking out much of Ukraine's electric grid;
- Ukraine is wasting precious small arms ammunition in failed attempts to counter Russian Geran-2 drones;
- NATO claims it will send means to counter them - nothing of substance actually revealed;
- Russian forces continue to advance in Bakhmut, indicating Ukrainian forces are stretched too thin;
- Russian General Surovikin is focused on the defense of Kherson which is being evacuated;
- Fighting may reach the city, Russia has in the past withdrawn forces rather than have them destroyed or captured;
- Whatever gains Ukraine makes will be temporary - Kiev is trading its entire army for territory hoping for a political resolution in its favor ahead of a military resolution in Russia's;

Not sarcasm, or making a joke either. I frankly DO NOT CARE. I do care that there was no Columbus day this year. No mention of it, or marking on the calendar. Yet mine marks days for a fake December holiday, MLK day, yet no celebration of Washingtons or Lincolns birthday. Even better, is a celebration for the slow news coverage about the Emancipation of slaves, called Juneteenth.... Knocking down of Confederate monuments, demeaning the ladies trying to keep the memory of family who were killed by the Union army, and the veterans. That I DO CARE about.
