Biden is not going to be able to sell US Involvement in this regional conflict with a bad guy where we have no vital national security interest indefinitely. Western Europe, who does have a vital national security interest in it and does not care one wit whether Putin ultimately annexes those Eastern Ukraine provinces, is already itching to get it over with to repair their faltering economies and get back to importing cheap Russian gas. Bottom line, they will get more vocal about negotiating an end to the conflict and the US public will shortly thereafter get more vocal about the billions we are spending there. IMHO, politically, Biden has another 6-9 months of playing with this thing before he has to fold his cards and give in to Western European pressure to push Zelensky to the negotiation table.

Haven’t watched Tucker Carlson in a while due to my present schedule however clips of his show has been played by the Kremlin on Russian national TV as has been reported by BBC, DW, Poland Television and Venezuela and Peru and Nicaragua. Those are just the sources of media where I’ve seen the Russian Media/Tucker Carlson story.

Typically I agree with more than 90 - 95% of his views so whatever he said, it must have been heavily edited in order for it to be a useful tool for Putin to use.

I don’t even watch Tucker Carlson. I’m not a big TV-watcher.

But this comment made the news feed here on FR a week or two ago and I wholeheartedly agree with it.

I’m tired of that mincing grifter with a strong sense of entitlement demanding our money. It’s as simple as that. I’m surprised people aren’t getting that point. Instead, they’re focusing on other things Carlson has said or done in the past.

My point is this. I *wholeheartedly agree* with this right here. This. That’s all. Just this.

***“ What?” Carlson said incredulously. “Some uppity foreigner in a t-shirt demanding money for his ‘critical economic needs.’ We have critical economic needs too, buddy. Who are you, troll? Go away. Since when does that guy have a claim on our treasury,” Carlson asked.***

Just that. That is the focus of my comment.
