At this time, I would strongly support DeSantis over Trump. DeSantis has shown tremendous leadership, has an amazing resume, and has policies similar to Trump, but without the coarseness. DeSantis has also made great hires and fired those no going with the program in short order.
Those are my reasons, and getting me to change would be difficult.
I like Trump, but he has been way too aggressive in going after DeSantis with no real reasons.
And let’s be honest. Lots of people love Trump and about the same number absolutely hate him. Almost all Republicans and many Democrats like DeSantis. VERY few people hate DeSantis. I really think DeSantis would be a great President, just nor as bombastic.
It was Pence who said Flynn lied and should be fired.

They’ve already looked under every rock for anything Trump may have done wrong. So far they’ve found nothing. They’ve found so little they had to lie and fabricate. Still nothing stuck. Now they are the Boy that Cried Wolf. DiSantis hasn’t been tested. They’ve held their punched just waiting for the opportune time.

McConnell did the very least he could for Hershel and Masters. Pours money for Murkowski.
I see Hershel winning easily. There’s no Stacey Abrams on the ticket. Warnock is bad news here, and everyone will come out for him.
We did very well, but the perception will be that we didn’t.
Fetterman clearly benefited from early voting.
President Trump has a lot of annoying qualities. Some of it just because he’s a rich narcissist.
But every single other politician is a diabolical narcissist. Trump truly loves this country, and he loves the people in it.
Mean tweets and seemingly brash behavior is NOTHING compared to the utter loathing of all other humans that politicans, democrats especially, exhibit every time they interact.
And their Constitutional disloyalty to their constituents/citizens.
How many are able and willing to kick @$$ and take names like Trump?
And will come up with something equally nasty for the Republican candidate, whoever it is.

It’s anyone on the right, i.e. Clarence Thomas, Robert Bork, Bret Kavanaugh, Bush, Romney (two that must have enjoyed it since they’re RINOS), Trump. They have gone above and beyond in regards to Trump. Six and a half years worth of persecuting this one man and his family. You can bet they’re building up a pack of lies to throw at DeSantis next, should they see him run for President, whenever that may be.

You’re right, anyone how believes that is naive. But anyone who thinks that is the main argument against Trump is also naive.
The issue is Trump is perceived as a bully and that turns people off. Too many are turned off by Trump for him to be elected again.
