That’s where they are making the big mistake, election night wasn’t a big failure on the part of the “leadership” it was by design. They deliberately sabotaged the election in order to openly try to oust Trump from the party altogether. The only thing that they see as a failure is that they actually gained seats in the house. What else accounts for Graham’s federal abortion ban bill, and the talk of looking at Social Security and Medicare, and McConnell’s withdrawing money from winnable races all over the country, and the total lack of any real message other than Biden is doing a terrible job? You don’t think all the anti-Trump opinion pieces just appeared within hours after the election, they were pre-written and ready to go.

“And now, they blame him?”

The swamp Republicans aren’t above throwing an election to secure their place leading the party. Look at how many people on this website immediately turned on Trump. None seem at all suspicious about why Desantis is so appealing to the deep state. We are being played, and many are falling for it.

Really? Trump is the head of the GOP? Then how come McConnell and Romney and Graham and Cheney aren’t following his orders?

If Trump gets pushed out of the way, that ‘crazy Florida governor’ will be known as the next Hitler.

Trump wasn't costing people votes in Ohio. Ohio is pretty solidly Trump country.

It's the purple/blue states where Trump lost in 2020 and then dropped these giant steaming turds like Doug Mastriano where he can share much of the blame.

Here’s Tommy Emmer. Sounds like the GOPe had it in for this guy. Had to win with saboteurs amongst your ranks. Any OH residents have any further insight to this ? Was the guy a decent candidate ?

When did he try to do that, or even give them orders?

Plenty of times - perhaps you’ve forgotten Trump called out McConell (who’s head of the senate campaign committee) for not refusing to find candidates he endorsed?

Naah - you just live in your little fantasy land and vote for McConnell because we have to vote for the establishment to get what we want.

Great post!

This needs to be said, rather than the conservative infighting, the fingers need to be pointed at the establishment deepstate!

If the base remains undivided, they lose, and we win.

Anyone that can’t see it is a concerted effort between the Dems and the GOP, using the media to do so, hasn’t been paying attention over the past 6 years. Trump was, and is, a threat to their power, money, and the gravy train they have been riding for the past few decades.

The GOP wants us to return to the Bush/Romney or Clinton/Biden family-type power which they and the Dems shared by allowing each other to win every 8 years or so.

Oh really?? Where do you figure Trump allowed the RINOs “to be in their roles”? This is what the article is about and Trump is not the President, he was acting as a private citizen. He picked good candidates for the most part. Yes there a couple I wouldn’t have picked but his record is amazing.
