McConnell being re-elected as the majority leader is the biggest loss from last week.

This did not happen. McConnell was last re-elected as GOP Senate leader in November 2020.

But I don't think McConnell will go quietly into that good night. He will not resign his position. Senate Republicans will need to force him out - which Rubio indicated last week.

It is supposed to be WE THE PEOPLE who choose who WE want to lead us.

I think that is kind of his point. When you do not have an elected president of your own party in power, you don't have a single elected leader. That's just a fact.

So without an elected leader, different people within the party are going to look to different people for leadership. You may look to Donald Trump, but some other Republicans may not. Which, by definition, means there is no single leader.

"We The People", actually includes everyone who votes, not just those who support Donald Trump.

Scrap the GOP. We need a MAGA party. What do we lose by scrapping the Republican party? Nothing.

You have a good point. If we get angry enough, we should take it out first on the Dems.

Obama and his crew are running ... the country into the ground. With mail in ballots and vote harvesting, Republicans are dead. We are now Communist China with Chairman Joe at the helm. Pray for our children.

Those who founded the Republican Party had no problem with scrapping the Whig Party. It can happen again. And must for the future of our Republic. It’s time.

The last time one of the two major parties was scrapped and replaced 10 years later there was a Civil War. Well, ok then.

McConnell is plotting to ram through a leadership vote before the run-off in GA. This is how McConnell operates. Ted Cruz urges a delay, as do Hawley, Rubio, Johnson, and Lee. https://t.co/6PqcahWzWa— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) November 12, 2022

But not Tommy C and friends of McConnell.

I work at it a little bit, every day! Nearly there. Just a little more shoring up on the northern perimeter of the compound and all will be secure! ;)
