It looked a bit nasty over your way when I checked the radar this afternoon. Were you able to take Gizmo out for some fun at the lake or did y’all have to stay home?
Well, I hope you do. It’s really critical when the well dries up. Have you seen indications that it is?
No point in us both withering up like a prune. My lips are so dry and no amount of Blixtex will keep them from cracking. I sure hope next year is better than this one has been. It’s been a downer all the way!
Aaaawww, poor Gizmo has a sad face. At least you got out there for a little while but he didn’t seem to enjoy it much. Poor lil pooch.
So far, no indications but the one time our well got very low, we had no forewarning. I was finishing up a shower when all of a sudden, the water was just a trickle. Fortunately I had finished rinsing off and was getting ready to turn the water off.
We had a second well dug that summer so we have that to fall back on if necessary.
What we need is what Nicole would have dumped on us if the cold front last weekend hadn’t moved in and shoved it east.
I hope next year is better too! La Niña has GOT to give up. She’s been in control too long.
I sure hope it doesn’t go dry. That could be a real inconvenience!

We’d prefer is doesn’t go dry too. Especially if it happens again while I’m in the shower. LOL But if it does, we’ll just switch over to the other well for a while. They’re tapped into separate sources. Thank goodness neither one is sulphur water. YUCK! The house across the road IS. Maybe that’s why the folks who bought it aren’t in a hurry to move in.
