“Americans have not suffered enough pain “

That’s what Trump said in his announcement speech. He said the pain from Biden’s mistakes has been mild so far but would worsen, and the limited pain so far is why more voters didn’t vote conservative.

Republican candidates are not important to many Americans.

You could run Superman as a Republican candidate in some areas, and the Democrat candidate would win.

We have to quit concentrating on electing Republican candidates or not electing Democrat candidates.

If this republic is to survive,

Then the Democrat party must be dismantled.

It is strangling our country, our republic and our elections.

The only positive take away from this election is that the economy is on the brink of a serious economic downturn.

My concern was that the hapless Republicans would let the Democrats blame them for the economic disaster

The sad fact of life is the 20 year credit expansion and the era of easy money we have been in is at an end

Von Mises gave us two options

Option 1 Tightening up and taking the painful economic medicine.

Option 2 - Continuing the expansion until there is total collapse of the monetary system.

We are in the bizzaro world of the Powell Fed attempting to execute Option 1 while Biden and the Democrats are pushing head long for Option 2 from a spending perspective while driving the country into a serious government engineered demand destruction due to government engineered scarcity of labor, energy and supply chain shortages across the spectrum

To add another wild card to the card deck of economic destruction, Biden has eliminated the tariffs on imported goods( especially cheap Chinese products) which is going to seriously hinder American domestic producers ability to raise prices in current the inflationary economic situation due to low cost foreign competitions.

Worse, if American domestic producers can't raise prices to keep up with inflation, then they are pressed on margins and do not have the financial ability to raise wages for American workers who are already being crushed with inflationary price increases

Buckle up folks, we may be in for a wild ride in the Biden engineered destruction of the American economy. And these political saboteurs were just re elected and are on record as saying they are doubling down on their perfect storm policies of for destruction of America's economy.

There is not a lot of possibility for a soft landing when our leaders are driving us off a very high cliff.

That’s very true. Cause and effect is totally foreign to them.

It’s only when the pain is strong enough and immediate that they tend to stop doing what they’re doing.

A bit like someone pulling his hand away from a hot burner.

“From an election perspective, that meant they could still vote for Democrats,:

And republicans offered no hope for change.

That’s a good list.
I never realized what an election loser abortion was until the Kansas 60/40 vote. That would probably be a 70/30 or worse vote in many states.
I’m afraid only God can sort this one out.

The Dems do a good job of convincing their base that corporate greed is what has caused the inflation. And the Evil oil companies.

Some of that is true but unmarried women and black females are fixated on baby killing. Slightly different reasons, negroes don’t like birth control pills because they think they are whitey poison, black men won’t use condoms because ‘it ruins the feeling’, white women want baby killing because they want sex when ever they want it and can get it without responsibility. Are there any females who wish to comment?
