for the gen z’ers and millenials who were suckered by the student loan gimmick
it says a whole lot about the quality of the overpriced education they received
*WAS to be* the biggest scam.
I paid my way through a private University to earn a STEM degree.
Fuk you people that expect me to pay for your useless degrees. Learn how to sell used cars. You had the best instructors. They sold you a wagon-full of BS.
+1
i knoe biden said he didn’t think he could do this legally...but did it anyways.
Funnier still, this is the second time these suckers bought this lie. It was one of the things that he promised when he was trying to get elected. I know three different people who voted for him for just this reason.
In reference to the article suggesting what Repubs “should” do, Republican lawmakers are INCAPABLE of playing political hardball with the Dems, because they have NO BALLS !!!
Guess no Republicans were savvy (or honest) enough to make the point before the election that the forgiveness thing would never become law because of its unconstitutionality.
RE: Learn how to sell used cars.
Hey, I’m actually on the market for one ! And you don’t need to be a college grad to sell me one, just be honest and give me a good deal that’s value for money.
:)
True that! I worked full time the entire time I was in college getting a BS in computer science. Anyone who "needs help" paying off their worthless education bill should learn to code.
this is more of what you’d call Vote RENTING than Vote Buying...
and none, not a single one of those i saw interviewed said they would use said money to pay back part of their remaining $XXX,000 in student loans, not, one!
they ALL said they’d blow it, so f-em now and forever...
UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF TEXAS FORT WORTH DIVISION MYRA BROWN, ET AL ., Plaintiffs, v. No. 4:22-cv-0908-P U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, ET AL ., Defendants. ORDER The Constitution vests “all legislative powers” in Congress. This power, however, can be delegated to the executive branch. But if the executive branch seeks to use that delegated power to create a law of vast economic and political significance, it must have clear congressional authorization. If not, the executive branch unconstitutionally exercises “legislative powers” vested in Congress. In this case, the HEROES Act— a law to provide loan assistance to military personnel defending our nation—does not provide the executive branch clear congressional authorization to create a $400 billion student loan forgiveness program. The Program is thus an unconstitutional exercise of Congress’s legislative power and must be vacated.
Bkmk
Step one. Eliminate the dept of miseducation.
This was a brilliant ploy by Dems.
The amounts were poll-tested by consultants to strike the best balance between enthusiasm and disgust producing optimum election results.
It will return in 2024 via some method.
As I noted in another thread, now the fedgov (democrats) has the personal information of the millions of people who signed up at the now defunct website for the loan forgiveness. Direct information that will be used to contact all of those disgruntled voters prior to the 2024 election….
