How many times do we have to tell them, keep it to the brownies ONLY! /sarc
They said no MSG. They did not say no THC.
well... at least they are not suing for 1 trillion like everyone else these days!
I’m not sure what is worse, that the bride thought up this stupid and dangerous idea or that the caterer went along with it.
Chick @ right: "My life is friggin' over."
Chick @ left: "What, me worry?"
Very true story....always showed up around Christmas for some reason too 🤣
Who would think this is a good idea? Fine maybe for the bachelor’s party if you tell everyone what they are consuming (still a stupid idea in my opinion, but I could understand it). However, to serve cannabis laced products at a wedding reception where elderly people and those with medical issues will be unknowingly consuming that drug-laced food, is just the height of stupidity. They deserve to be arrested and deserve to be sued.
A new twist on Jamaican inspired cuisine? Yah, mon!
Well stated. Where are we going and why are we in this hand basket!?
The set sucked. I say that as a member of a respected GD tribute band for 30 years. You can't play that music when all that other sh!t is going wrong.

I love you Alice B Toklas?
I’ve never seen that movie, but the same scenario also sets up the movie Stir Crazy, also with Richard Pryor.
The Groom may want out of this marriage before things get even worse. If she does this on their wedding day, what else should he expect her to toy around with?
Perhaps an Annulment would be appropriate if she kept this looney-tunes side of herself hidden during the courtship.
Maybe they would have to return all those wedding gifts, along with a scribbled note.
Did Cannabis Bride want her guests to experience ‘euphoria’ at her wedding reception? If so an epic FAIL instead.
I might not be very comfortable being next to the kinds of folks in that section.
What with me NOT being a satanist and all....

It’s hardly nothing. Even if the civil suit does not go forward what the caterer did is against the law. Adulterating food is a serious offense in many states. It is also against health regulations and the caterer should lose her license.
“Today’s dope is 25 - 35 times more potent than in the 70’s. Think about that.”
Well, I’m doubting that all pot was that weak back in the day.
Friend and I walked around the block circa 1972 and smoked a smaller sized joint, probably 3 or 4 hits apiece. Got back to the beach rental house where a party was starting, and I experienced what is now referred to as couch lock. I couldn’t move and couldn’t even speak. While the pot may not have been as potent as today’s stuff, that was some killer weed (as the cool kids used to say).
On a side note, a cop walked into the living room unannounced, someone on the block had seen my friend and myself smoking and called the police. A neighbor later told us the cop had searched all the cars along the block before coming into the house (cars were all unlocked, common in those days). He didn’t find anything in the cars, and left the house pretty quickly when he didn’t see anyone doing any drugs. And if you’re thinking the cop violated our civil rights, you weren’t present back then, long haired hippies didn’t have rights and everyone, including hippies, knew that.
Evidently reoccurring in real life.
