Forced to belong to a major political party in order to be on the ballot for President in 2016, Mr. Trump chose the Republcan party.

He chose poorly.

In Harris County Texas the Democrats have reduced vote harvesting to a science. They have been killing the Republicans for decades. Shelia Jackson-Lee and others taught them how to do it all over the country. They have no morals or conscience and will continue to win because they are evil as hell. Even the “insurrection” was a Democrat setup.

The Democrat party is akin to Slim Pickens riding the nuke down to the ground, they don’t care about this country and want to destroy it even if it destroys them and their own families.

Trump spent almost nothing in his endorsed candidates. He left them in the cold after telling them to come forward. McConnell spent far more and actually did protect his incumbents. More importantly, he bought their loyalty, especially Vance’s.

Now Vance was always a libertarian globalist servant of the gay billionaire Peter Thiehl, but since McConnell saved his bacon financially, he now has an excuse to sell out.

Trump chose terrible people to manage his PAC who mostly just sat on the money like in the parable of the talents.

Personally I don’t really think Trump could’ve handled it, at the time, that much better. But he didn’t need to go on TV every day for months updating the press and getting bashed bty them on Covid.

****************

Ok,

Trump was bashed 24/7/365 since he entered the political arena for President. I’ve never seen anything like it and I thought W Bush was treated poorly.

When we get another Republican President, we will be able to do a comparison of Trump vs the ‘perfect’ Republican.

Until then, IMO Trump holds ‘his own’ against every Republican President since the 1920’s.(I could go back further, but what’s the point.)
The list includes Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush, & Bush jr.

Trump wasn’t any worse than the names mentioned, but what was worse is the complete one-sided media coverage of Trump & MAGA in the media that matters.(The media that reaches everybody not just Conservative Inc)

McConnell is to blame, not Trump.
He didn’t want Trump-endorsed candidates showing up in DC.
It really is that simple.
McConnell would much prefer things just as they are, with the GOP in the minority, and with him as Republican leader.
In New Hampshire, General Bolduc could have and should have wiped the floor with Democrat Maggie Hassan, but McConnell only allocated 2 million dollars for his race. Hassan spent 46 million dollars and won.
This happened in races across the country.
Mitch McConnell is a Chinese Communist collaborator, and in the not-so-distant past he would be in prison for treason.
How in Heaven’s name America allows this to happen is beyond me.
The RINOs are the most despicable people that ever rose to power in America.

Sorry, my description of non-party means they were Democrat Lites, RINOs, the Republican Party I left, the Party that catered to their big doner patrons. If you want to call that the Republican Party, that’s your call.

Trumps “terminate the constitution” remark destroyed what little hope he had at a comeback.

Compare Trump’s percentage of wins to the percentage of non endorsed Republican candidates. Trump did way better.

That assumes that each elected office that candidates run for is equal. They are not.

Not gaining control of the Senate is a tough loss. Blaming it solely on fraud which so many do, is intellectual laziness and gives people excuses to not consider that maybe the candidates were flawed, or the issues they ran on didn’t connect with voters.

The left GOP couldn’t win a primary, so they decided to not support the winner. However, if it were reversed they’d expect to be supported.

Yup. It's not going to happen. When the GOPe stabbed us in the back, they also cut off their own noses for spite.

The 2024 election is going to be a bloodbath for Republicans, even if dopey Joe runs again.

He boosted his winning percentage by endorsing sure wins like DeSantis and Abbott. The real test are the endorsements in truly contested elections like Oz in PA.
