Hmmmm, somehow I’ve missed the asteroid news. Maybe it’s a plus having basic cable and don’t have FOXCNNBSNBCWEATHERCHANNEL to yammer about those things. LOL
Man, 12 million miles. Gonna be a close call!!
Sleep well, TigerHawk.
Don’t get me started on Yankees coming down and expecting things to be like they were at “home”. LOL!
Staying home is a great idea. I probably will too. Well, I usually do anyway. I’ve found that I don’t like people that much.
Guess I’d better head out or my phone with the alarm will be in big trouble in the morning. See ya tomorrow! Stay warm.
So glad your snow removed itself, and without losing power.
I don’t remember so much snow in such a short period of time. NEVER have I not been able to get to work if necessary. I work from home, but go into the office on Thursday mornings. Not this past Thursday. More than 2’ in my driveway. My plow guys didn’t come til Friday late, late, late, so I was able to go in today. Lots and lots of dump trucks taking huge snow loads to who knows where. The city is struggling to keep up.
And the best news of all...the city plow came and cleared the cul-de-sac and made the pile of snow in the middle a little bigger.
I feel embarrassed for getting about an inch here today!
That’s my mailbox. I knocked the huge pile of snow off of it. Every time the mailman, and then me, opens it, snows falls onto the door and them into the box.
Beautiful music for the season, luvie. ((HUGS)) A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours. Stay warm!!
I don’t really need to get ME started on them. LOL We have new Yankee neighbors, sort of, at the house across the road but I don’t know much about them yet. Only met him once. They haven’t moved in yet and only show up over there once in a while. We have a lot of “R”s moving here to escape the mess from wherever they moved from but I don’t know if these two are among that crowd. Plenty of the wrong kind who want US to change to suit THEM.
I hope things work out that I can go to that party. I enjoy going every year and seeing everyone. A great bunch of friends, they are. I love being around people, especially people I like a lot. There won’t be many opportunities after the first of the year until the museum reopens in April.
Get some good sleep. That alarm will go off far to early to suit you. :-)
Oh WOW! What a shot!
I never realized how massive Moose are until I saw a video showing this giant walking on the road with a person not to far from it. They are really huge creatures!
Yikes! Now I know what you were talking about after that photo!
Good evening/morning, lightman. A Bless Lord’s Day to you and yours.
And a Blessed Fourth Sunday of Advent (Western)/Sunday of the Genealogy (Orthodox)
Are you still chanting? Are you ready for the Christmas season?
I am off shortly to my walk in tub to soak the parts that hurt, but I don’t hurt as bad as I thought I would.
I basically hybernate once the snow storms start getting to our area. So far we’ve had maybe an inch and it took all day for that to accumulate. Never saw such a day where it tried so hard to snow but couldn’t! Ha!
The one right outside the door...the other one in the back yard was almost as big, but she went down into the creek.
Yes, they are huge...and cranky.
Indeed they ARE huge. Can you imagine walking out the door and coming face-to-face with one? Kathy has more than once and sent me pics to prove it. LOL I’d fall out in a dead faint.
The one outside the door sure did look monstrous. I shuddered thinking about you being so close when I saw the pic. I couldn’t blame you for saying “Nope!” to taking the trash barrel to the curb. LOL
We have the same “yankee” issue, just not all real yankees. People from all over bring their bad driving habits. And pickup drivers think they can cut in and out and still stop. Hit a patch of ice and you take out a lot of other drivers. I always drop back and let them get FAR ahead. And the funny thing is, most of the time we are both at the next red light.
20 feet is still too close. LOL
If any moose are hanging around Lake Hood tonight, we wouldn’t know it. It is socked in with pea soup fog right now.
Good morning, caww...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Be happy. ๐ I don’t remember getting so much snow in such a short time.
This much snow all at once is very unusual for us.
Yeah, we have plenty of locals who can’t drive worth a flip too. They’re bad enough when it rains.
But the Yankees scoff at us being careful with an inch or two of snow and just take off like it’s nothing. They quickly learn it’s ‘something’ after a big repair bill for their wrecked vehicles.
