I am hesitant to being an organ doner. Dead people given anesthetics, tied down and bodies clinch up when doctors start carving them up.
How long is the brain still alive after death? 5 minutes, 2 hours, 20 hours?
Life must be more than these bodies that are loaned to us.
Fascinating.
Jeff is. You literally cease to exist. Time. It’s nothing like sleeping.
In the resurrection will be aware of any passage of time between the resurrection and the day they actually died. It will be instantaneous. Kind of like when I went under for surgery, the doctor told me to take a deep breath, and I did. He then said to take another breath, and I did, and as I exhailed I was waking up in the recovery room over an hour later. That’s how I see it.
To quote crowder, changed my mind. ๐

Thanks
I first met Pim in Italy where we were both presenting at a conference. His work methodology is excellent.
From my experiences, I was able to answer many of his questions from a different perspective.
The irony was that I had just restarted a woman’s heart the previous evening and was explaining the valve that was not closing properly causing her arrest. Pim was next to me and went into details of the heart physiology that were beyond me.
We ended up laughing, crying and hugging. Been friends ever since.
Sounds hopeful...
I would agree with you, having had my own out of body experience a long time ago from a real bad motorcycle accident, I still can NOT get the images of me looking down at me out of my head!
To be fair there are many atheists who believe in life after death.
Just one example—the New Age spiritual types....
Pull in the feeling you were experiencing at that moment.
That’s how I see it, too, based on experiences with surgery. There was no dreaming. Nothing. You blink, and hours have passed. So, even if we had to wait many millennia for the afterlife, it would feel like a second to us.
6 X. Must be a record!
If BrainEx can prevent damage to the brain why not the entire body?
Igor: [pause, then] No.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Ah! Very good. Would you mind telling me whose brain I DID put in?
Igor: Then you won't be angry?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby... Normal.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the name.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [chuckles, then] Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA? [grabs Igor and starts throttling him]
I had to cut the excerpt short. The article goes on to say that, after BrainEx, they developed something called OrganEx for the whole body.
