If McCarthy does not win the Speakership on the 1st and 2nd Vote,
Alternatives will emerge. And it won’t be Democrats like Levin and MTG
have been fearmongering about.
He may be the alternative that emerges after the 1st and 2nd Speaker vote.
Ryan and McCarthy are friends. In November Ryan said: "McCarthy will clinch speakership," and he then went on to blame Trump for the midterm losses. McCarthy and Ryan...two turds who have been floating in the cess pool called Washington, for far too long.

No I don’t believe Jim’s a phony. Some of his HR choices suck, just like President Trump’s.
It’s smart for Gaetz and the other 4 to be going after McCarthy in this way. Instead of presenting an alternative that could be attacked, they are waiting to formally block McCarthy first and get him to quit. I don’t know who the alternative will be, but it can’t be much worse than McCarthy. Maybe Scalia?
