GOT A CALL FROM A GOOD FRIEND THIS AFTERNOON TREE SNAPPED IN THE WIND (WE’VE HAD SOME NASTY GUSTS HERE SINCE MID AFTERNOON) AND MISSED HIM BY JUST A FEW FEET! ASIDE FROM A HEART SKIP HE GOT AWAY WITHOUT A SCRATCH...WHICH I’M VERY GLAD ABOUT. HE’S A GOOD GUY.

Lookin’ out the window at the thermometer, it’s 9 degrees here at the moment. I’m surprised it isn’t colder since we only made it up to 10 this afternoon. They say we can expect 2 degrees overnight.
Anything below 60 is cold to me. LOL
You’re stuck with this until Wednesday? That stinks. We’ll break the freezing mark, barely, Monday and it’ll be smooth sailing from Tuesday on. Next weekend, we’ll have highs of 60 or a little more.

WARM IS IMPORTANT!...ALONG WITH WELL FED AND RESTED...AND CANNOLI! WE’VE GOT ALL THE MAKINGS (AND I’VE GOTTA SAY, I MAKE THE BEST! MINI CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND A TOUCH OF PURE ALMOND EXTRACT IN THE MIX) BUT I CAN’T GATHER THE ENERGY TO MESS WITH ALL THAT TONIGHT...BUT WE DO HAVE THE MAKINGS!...AND IF I DON’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH ANY OF LIFE’S NASTY SURPRISES, THERE’S TOMORROW. IT’S SHABBAT, WE HAVE NO PLACE TO GO, AND A REAL HANKERING FOR CANNOLI.
