“You set up a hyperbolic straw man fallacy and then knock it down.”

But his point is valid; many, if not most, here are holding on to the belief that the majority of US voters are just raring to give Trump another chance.

“Do you believe that or no”? Would be the question to ask re: belief in a silent Trump voter majority, though.

The better choice is to replace RINOs with conservatives who aren’t afraid of Rats calling them names.

Exactly right. If there aren't enough staunch conservative to win primaries, then there sure as hell aren't enough to win a general. election on our own.

We have to win primaries with candidates who don't take joy in pissing off everyone even slightly to their left.

It depends on perspective I suppose. The Merrick Garland defeat was a real win. I won’t deny that. So I was wrong. It’s not every single time.

However, Democrats are winning with RINO help nearly every single time. Dems propose something truly radical, and our supposedly conservative team meets the left half way. Our federal government keeps ratcheting to the left, in big or small moves, no matter what we do.

There’s a part of me that just wants to let the Dems win so American progressives can get it good and hard. This is already starting to happen in states like New York and California where we have political refugees fleeing to Red States.

I have argued many, many times for backing the GOP no matter what once the primary is over. Where has that gotten me? We are losing with the likes of Romney.

That’s not better than having a Democrat. It’s the same thing..

Ridiculous.

I'll take the person who agrees with me 75% of the time over the person who agrees with me 0% of the time.

You made that 75% number up.

Scum like Romney and McCain agree with you 75% of the time?

Those were just 2 of the previous R Presidential candidates that Trump exposed as scum..

“And split the republicans to help a democrat get four more years. Yeah, great plan.”

If a Republican gets in office, they would be no different than a Democrat in office.

The on difference between Republican and Democrat party is name only.

The real Republican party is dead.

There is only one party. The two-party system is an illusion.

Look, Pat Buchanan was winning primaries hand over fist until the MSM, Uniparty, and a couple of minor Buchanan mis-steps caused him to lose in Arizona, and ultimately to anointed patsy Bob Dole for the nomination.

Buchanan got off to a fast start in 2000, but decided to go for the Reform Party nomination, taking him from a front-runner to a 1%er.

The job is to take over the Republican Party. It cannot be done in one election. Every time anti-MAGA forces lose a primary, the other side loses clout. Every RINO early retiree moves the ball forward. Every time an Amash or a Crist or a McMullen leaves the Republican Party, we are that much closer to true control.

If Trump runs Third Party, because of his history, ability and resources, he might pass Perot’s ‘92 total of 18%. That’s not good enough. If Trump runs Third Party, WE get credibly labeled the RINOs, the anti-Reagans. We might pick some old school populist Dems that way, but not enough. We’d be better off taking over the party and renaming it. To much of the law and regulation of the election system favors the entrenched parties by design.

I know he was cheated. He was president then. If he could not stop it then, he cannot stop it now. He was done unjustly. I cannot undo that.

Trump can make it about the last election but, unfortunately, most American voters have moved on. That showed in the 2022 midterms. It’s not about Trump to most voters. It’s about saving our nation. And, like it or not, we need those in the center to win too. He doesn’t have that. The media certainly is to blame for much of that but he’s also partially to blame.

You're assuming that the Republicans can win an election.

Either Republicans joined with Democrats to defeat Republican candidates in the midterm elections, or the Democrats stole more elections just like the 2020 election.

Not one thing has been done by the GOPe to restore integrity into the elections, and you still believe they are fighting for us?

Some people just refuse to accept reality they see with their own eyes, I guess. None so blind as those who refuse to see. Everything you think you know is a lie.

The Omnibus betrayal, following the midterm betrayal still hasn't made some see the light. Incredible, the number of useful idiots who still believe in the GOPe, and gives the GOPe the courage to betray the people. I'm not even sure the GOPe wants to win, because their empty promises provide for ways to extract money from the suckers.

It's akin to blacks believing that the party of the KKK is there to fight for them & improve their lives. Some of you marvel at that, yet do the very same thing . What if all of you followed suit in abandoning the GOPe to support Trump, who is our Braveheart? We would become a very powerful block who just might claim victory.

To me, that has become perhaps our most viable option to exercise.

The option you support becomes more & more a folly exercise in insanity. Expecting a different outcome after they have exposed themselves as being no better than their Democrats cohorts. Corrupt to the core, and only concerned about their power and enriching themselves while fleecing you.

We tried that already in my State, too many voters still drinking the GOP Kook-Aid. The GOP needs to destroy to build a new party. If the GOP has a RINOs in the General just vote for that office, let a Democrat win. A vote for a RINO is a wasted vote.

At least you tried, even if you fail.

Trying isn't the goal. Winning is. And when you only get one shot every four years, wasting it on something that has no chance of success is dumb.

Breitbart is anti-Trump. F them.

I’d be fine with Trump running on a different ticket. The republicans are worthless.

Use whatever phrase you want. There isn't any more than perhaps 25% of the electorate that would consider themselves hardcore Trump supporters.

"Hardcore"? LOL. You're still setting up a straw man fallacy.

Set the same standard for any other candidate.

How many hardcore supporters of Biden, DeSantis, Youngkin, Haley are out there? You're "deluding" yourself if you think any of those people have more "hardcore" support.

They don't.

"Raring"?

No the point is not valid when you use such hyperbole. None of the candidates would measure up.

Save the nation?

Yikes.. you believe the R’s are going to do that?

You’ve bought the R vs D con..

You one of those that have a high opinion of the 535 Congress critters?
Some in there for decades?

But Trump was an issue..

That’s one part of the R vs D con that Trump helped expose..

We have no idea how many people really voted for Biden.
And we have no idea how many people really voted for Trump.

Those that have moved on from that deserve the banana republic they call home..
