Ever since Britain allowed Sharia Law to be practiced along side British Common Law the end became inevitable. You can't have two legal systems existing side by side. Sharia isn't law anyway, not as any civilized society should have. It's more a gangster code for a death cult founded on violence, depravity, sensualism and human passions.
I will take a chance and others who know more may respond. The knife this man used looks to me to be what is called a ‘Khyber knife’ in Pakistan. Many Pathans habitually carry such a blade.
