Putin's Game Plan Predicted by John McCain in Resurfaced 2014 Clip

Songbird advised Putin during the time he was singing at the Hanoi Hilton?

How thoughtful.

“...Yanukovych took a massive bung to sell his country out.”

“took a massive bung”? What does that mean?

I agree with what you wrote, although I am not sure that flaying Yanukovych alive would have been the wise course. I do believe any leader who appears to collude with Putin/russia deserves a much closer official look.

Regarding American involvement, Ukraine was not high on my radar back then, but I do remember the poisoning of the politician and the disturbance over Yanukovych being pro Russia as it was happening. I don’t remember having an impression the Us was deeply involved in these concerns.

You know what is completely absent from all of that? America. Which had nothing to do with any of it.

"Yats is our guy."

LOLOLOL. The US literally chose the next President of Ukraine - and you claim the US had nothing to do with it?

Please go away now.

Bung=bribe. On top of money directly from the Kremlin Yanukovych looted Ukrainian national funds with the confidence that one in Russia he’d be untouchable.

In fact he took more money from Russia and embezzled out of Ukraine in the six months before arriving in Russia than Zelenskyy is alleged to have taken in the 3 years he’s been President. In effect Russia greenlit him becoming a billionaire by theft.

The US and NATO - and the European Union - all looked the other way between 2004 and 2014. The USA and UK were wining and dining Russian oligarchs (our Peter Mandelson even indicated that he was intensely relaxed about it, and partied on Deripaska’s yacht).

The EU invited Russia onto the European Council, Eurovision, various EU quangos, sports bodies...

Easy way to spot a pro Kremlin revisionist is they ignore those ten years of us doing the polar opposite of “poking the bear.” Maybe naively the West thought Putin was over his obsession with cold war paranoia and didn’t think for a minute he’d still think NATO was at war with Russia.

I think the lower left photo was photoshopped. The man on the right with his head circled in red stands behind the center figure, yet his head is about 20% larger than the other 2 main figures. So it is either a photoshop or he was one of the biggest-brained smartest people ever. In the upper right photo, the red circled person appears to be one of several people just standing around, not specifically WITH McCain, and not even looking at him. But it too COULD have been photoshopped.

TM’s trade mark is his detailed multiple presentations with red pen of anti Ukraine material. Does he do them himself, or does he have professional help with this time consuming research of photo archives?

“Everyone knows the historical links between Ukraine and Russia for centuries.”

Yep, Vibrant links in 1933 when the Russian communists murdered millions of Ukrainians in an engineered terror famine.

BTW, Ukraine was a stronghold of the anti Communist “Whites” during the Russian civil war of 1920. They lost to scorch earth tactics in the ‘Red Terror” of the communists from Moscow.

So, Comrade. You admit to being a pro Putin/Russia tool/troll.

Everything by Comrade McGee is photoshopped; nothing is to be taken at face value and is generally best to be totally ignored.

The USA didn’t choose the next president of Ukraine when Yanukovych won the election. Neither did Russia.

The USA helped Ukraine choose its new President after Yanukovych had become irretrievably compromised by Moscow.

Please go away now, if you’re too mince-thick to understand the basic concept that actively buying a president off to get him to sign over the economic development of it to a hostile power and then enable his country’s invasion by it, is quite a bit more wrong than choosing a different president who’d be good for business.

“...the result was the same - hundreds of thousands dead in Ukraine.”

Between 2014 and Feb. 23, 2022 around 14,000 people died in eastern Ukraine during fighting between separatists aided by the Russian Mercenary “little-green-men” and the pro-Ukraine fighters. No information on how many were collateral damage. The biggest numbers (around 4000) in the first years, had dropped off to a few hundred in the year before Russia attacked on Feb. 24, 2022. Thus almost all the hundreds of thousands dead, both fighters and collateral damage, are totally the responsibility of Putin/Russia. Also how many others have dear Putin and Russia killed in Chechnya, Georgia, and Syria?

So it is you who have to lie to hold onto your shameful point.

I would ignore this except I feel it is really important to alert new and naive FReepers to the many pro Putin/Russia Comrades and trolls among us. Some have been here for decades perhaps as sleeper agents, others are more recent. They often try to distract us by saying we should only pay attention to issues here in the US. They expect us to forget Russia has been an issue for 7 decades of “cold war”. Whether Russia is still Communist or has transformed to Fascist does not matter, their objectives continue the same.
Another tactic is to distract with loaded words like homo, high heels, grooming. They want us to forget that Russia has a whole rape culture, whether it is raping Ukraine women, or raping young Russian soldiers as initiation or punishment, which is just men being “men” with other men???

To fully understand Russia’s plans and intentions, read this link below. It is a summary of the plans designed by Russia’s Alexandr Dugin who is a mentor to Putin. This work is also taught in Russian military schools and it has even been suggested it should be part of younger curriculum. Especially see the ten points of plans for Europe, and the additional ten points for most of the remaining world. Some have already been achieved. Think Brexit.

OK, we had bung, now “quangos”. Are these typos, or some kind of UK or other slang I in my many years of heavy reading have never seen here in the US?

I certainly hope Yanukovych’s stolen riches, as transmitted to Russia, are now in some account included in the $600 billion of Russian assets now imprisioned by the West. Hopefully most of these many ill gotten gains will some day be used to reconstruct a free Ukraine.

Get a load of the start of BobL’s profile:

“Ask yourself a question: Why is Ukraine so important to the West? And exclude the invasion this year. In other words, why was the West SO INTERESTED in Ukraine for the past decade?”

A true propagandist. Just ignore the current military invasion and THEN listen to his misdirection.

No sir, we aren’t going to ignore a military invasion because you say so.

Also ignore why Russia was so interested that it has been “bleeding Ukraine” for decades.

Then tries to convince us that our interest in Ukraine is nefarious, but ignore the unrelenting horrible things Russia has been doing to its neighbors for decades.

I’m just gratified many more Freepers are now standing up to this Russian propaganda.

From the “Foundations of Geopolitics”

In the United States:

Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States to fuel instability and separatism, for instance, provoke “Afro-American racists”. Russia should “introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics”

Separation of a common language.

Quasi-autonamous non government organizations.

Bung = inducements, backhanders, envelopes of cash, favors. Free citizenship in a non extradition treaty country and half a million roubles in return for an elected leader committing an act so outrageously against the rules that he knows he’s going to get impeached if not lynched when the plebs find out.

I was cleaning out my excessive tabs and came across this. I don’t know if I ever sent it. Pardon me if this is a duplicate. Cheers

I would ignore too, except I feel it is very important to alert new and naive FReepers to the insidious infiltration we have here by Putin/Russia revisionist Commies. The revision unfortunately appears to have arrived at Fascism. These infiltrators, some planted decades ago and others recently, also try to distract concerned viewers by saying our ONLY issues should be domestic. Like we haven’t been fighting a “cold war” with Russia for 7 decades??? They are also identifiable by there use of issues like homo, high heels, groomers, etc. No wonder when their inspiration or boss, Russia, initiates and punishes its young troops by homosexual rape, except it is just “men” being men with other men!
