Thanks, my friend! I got hooked on Star Trek courtesy of a science teacher back in the 3rd grade. I remember my first book report being on “The Making of Star Trek”, which was about how the series was made (including things like Mister Spock being *this close* to being named Mister Spork lol).

I really wanted to be able to attract a Klingon female; I got a pregnant tribble instead. And that doesn't sound right AT ALL.

I did watch it back when it first came out but that was a looooooong time ago.

I liked it when it was new but wasn’t fanatical about it. I didn’t watch the spin-offs when they came out because by then I was busy earning a living and I worked nights. I’ve watched a few episodes in r e-runs but they didn’t grab my interest.
I’m not a Trekkie. LOL

No, it was a show anyone could enjoy, especially people who like science fiction, which I do. It just wasn’t something I stuck with. I didn’t stick with Star Wars either. I saw the first three movies and never watched the rest.

The only Star Wars show I came close to liking is the one where they came back to America and rescued a whale. Because I like “back in time” stuff.

That was one of the Star Trek movies. :-) I’ve seen parts of it on TV when looking for something to watch but never have seen the whole thing.

Since you like “back in time” stuff, you should check out Quantum Leap. That was a fun show and I still watch it from time to time.

I loved Quantum Leap! It was one of my favorite shows. I need to look it up and watch it again.
