To destroy a nation you must first destroy — or cancel, if you prefer — its history.

Oh, the irony.
“Liberty,” whilst the commies consolidate their grip on the country.

Yes, Gen. Bragg contributed more to the eventual Union victory in the war than many of the Union generals.

“Why not Fort George Floyd?”
Damn, don’t give those nut cases in DC any ideas.

....it just keeps on and on....in Richmond, Virginia, the famous Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center is getting a new name...he was a very esteemed and brilliant physician, teacher, a leader in every sense, in the Confederate States’ Army, but today......well, can’t have that.....

I thought they were going to rename it Fort Martin Luther King or Fort Al, as in Al Sharpton

There is no Liberty if we're not allowed to keep historical names.

LOL! That is a
novel way to put it.
An interesting debate would be whether Premberton or Bragg was the worst commanding officer is the short history of the Confederate States of America.
I'm not sure of the answer, but I will argue that Bragg had more impact. The loss of Vicksburg was relatively anticlimactic compared to the fall of Atlanta.

I guess this is one of the most important things they have to work on. You can’t hardly make this stuff up, I dare you to even try.

I was a very young space geek when I saw my first Apollo launches. At the time it was Cape Kennedy... and that’s how I learned there had been a person named Kennedy!
I was aware of the older name, and was 9 when they reverted.
