Maybe the shooter, a Vietnamese, was after the Chinese.
Might have been ARVN, or might have even been VC. Or it could be a personal grudge he had against a business or people hosting it?
Kinda an odd time for him to do that. If it’s anything interesting, it’ll get covered up.
The NY Post reports that it might have been domestic violence related. His wife was invited to the party, but he wasn't. So he shot it up.

We will never know if this was really the shooter. Very convenient for anyone who might want to cover something up.
In a culture it makes sense but of course it still does not make sense.
That 10.5% divorce rate for whites is not questionable but interesting in the face of the statistic that I read where only 18% of households with children are conventional... meaning I suppose children living with both original parent units who are married.

I have a close friend from Taiwan that was very very angry about this case - he felt it wasn’t a Chinese shooter at all, most likely ‘another Asian,’ not Chinese.
Turns out he was correct.
When he heard the names “Tran” he said that is a Vietnamese name.
So sorry for the families of the victims.

I know what diversity is, but I don't understand what it has to do with this mass shooting. It was an Asian killing Asians. How does diversity fit in?

Could be from southwest China and uses a weird Vietnamese type spelling.
Tran is Chen in Mandarin. His name is 陳友艮。
