Well said - I especially like “predetermined”......that fits just about everything that goes on today! Find a culprit then find a crime!
Yup the fact that they didn’t find a leaker points to The leaker being someone they don’t want to identify which would be 1 of the justices
They also have not disclosed that they determined, as a group, both to leak, and not reveal that it was a group effort.
(But I suspect that’s what really happened...)
SCOTUS says...
“We’ll pretend to hire someone impartial.”
“He’ll pretend to do an investigation.”
“He’ll produce a report that says nothing.”
“We’ll pay him extravagantly to keep his mouth shut.”
Well maybe but easy for us to say. Let’s play it out. Thomas and Alito call a press conference and accuse the wise Latina. Now imagine what happens next
