France has too few modern French tanks (the 220 or so Leclerc’s in French service) to give, and these will be hopeless to support what with limited parts availability and few technicians anywhere.

The same objection applies to the British Challenger IIs.

Neither of the above are in production so there isn’t good tech support available. And neither country can give many, as there are few spare tanks beyond those already in active service.

There are 2000+ Leopard IIs in Europe alone, with parts and engines and many experienced techs, etc. available. And it is still in production, albeit at a low rate. And there are or will be at least 500 redundant units available for transfer.

The Leopard II is thus, by far, the preferred Euro tank to transfer.

The US has even more spare M1 Abrams, there being over 3,500 in reserve, beyond those @2500 in use by the US Army and National Guard, plus spares and prepositioned equipment.

I don’t doubt Putin wants to get his greasy hands on every country that “enjoyed” the warm embrace of the Soviet Union Bear however he has to sell his expansionist plans to his people under the sheepskin threat from foreign powers who wish to use the Ukraine as a pawn in their anti Russian schemes.

The old Russian dolls within a doll within a doll propaganda.

Kinda like how we frame every war we fought since WWI as a “threat to democracy, baseball, motherhood and apple pie”

We all play this global chess game and get burned. One day very badly.

“set it up in advance”

That is a foolish assumption. The known facts and the actual course of events do not support it at all.

My take has always been that the US administration blundered, by projecting weakness and permitting Putin “wins”, that most likely encouraged him in his gamble. This US adninistration is incompetent, that should be a given.

The Ukrainians were not prepared for the attack, in the form it came. If it werent for an unanticipated desperate Ukrainian defense and likewise unanticipated Russian incompetence, Putin would have won his gamble.

I wouldn’t disagree. Look how late we joined the Second
World War. It takes a lot to get folks on board. In the
end it cost a tons more money to fight the battles > IMO.

You’ve given up so much ground at no cost, but then the
bill comes due.

If the Germans are so upset about the Nord being blown up, why did they send their tanks to Ukraine?

The Germans aren't at their breaking point yet, but they're closer to it. The US will want to send an invasion force into Ukraine if Kiev falls, and this could blow up NATO. While Poland, Hungary, and the Baltic states will be enthusiastic participants in this adventure, Italy, France, and Germany will finally say no. They'll say Ukraine is not a NATO country, direct conflict against Russia is not in our interests, and you can fight your own wars without us.

Hmmm. Do you think all Poles should be slaughtered? I know you’re sad that Stalin didn’t finish the job.

I would like to read the English version if possible.

Of course I going to look at it with a jaundiced eye just as I would any pro Ukrainian or pro Russian source.

I’m pro American but even pro American sources are suspect.

You mean the country whose leader who a couple of weeks ago re-iterated his 100% undying support for the WEF agenda?

“The Ukrainians were not prepared for the attack,”

Merkel and Hollande gave them 8 yrs.
We, Canada, and UK were in Ukraine training them for many years.

Russia sat on the border for days before invading.

Putin gave a public announcement.
The Russians dropped leaflets in Kiev before bombing a tv tower and other utilities early on.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the Biden did send in a tank battalion or two into the Ukraine just to save face.

Biden will have to do it without legitimate of NATO and of the support of Congress.

The last one I’m not so sure

The limp noodle GOP-e will give Biden anything he wants so bend over and warm up the KY jelly.

Read the article and it’s basically implied these labs, with the assistance of US, may have been working on pathogens involving Slavic people, which includes both Russian and Ukrainians. So while it might worked in the US favor during the cold war, any bioweapon would kill off the very people we seem to support as of right now.(holds up wet index finger in the wind)

Yes I believe we may have supported these labs in the same way we had CIA”black sites”

Remember, Russia won’t allow any nations on its border to be members of NATO.M/i>

Russia has had multiple NATO neighbors for some time:
Only 6% of Russia's land borders touch NATO countries. Russia has land borders with 14 countries. Only five of them are NATO members.

Looks like you are correct.

IDK why the Russians believed that. Maybe they felt the research was for us to use?

From Wikipedia

“Martin Arthur Armstrong is an American self-taught economic forecaster and convicted felon who spent 11 years in jail for cheating investors out of $700 million and hiding $15 million in assets from regulators....

“According to an editorial in The Guardian, Armstrong incorrectly predicted that a sovereign debt crisis, or “Big Bang” as he called it, would begin on 1 October 2015”

Honorable Mention
“According to DeSmog, Armstrong has frequently posted on his website denying the existence of man-made climate change.[30] He claimed in 2018, “Climate is changing and it is part of the normal cycle – not human-induced.”,[30] and in June 2016 that “Britain is moving into an Ice Age”.
