While we’re at it, let’s throw China into the mix. I’m sure the USA can win a two-front nuclear war without any problems. I’m sure the Norks and Whacky Pakis will join in on the fun.

Commit to victory? Troops on ground and thousands of dead American soldiers? There is no public will for that. Nor any reason to believe it would to victory.

I can’t believe Gen Jack Keane thinks Abrams tanks are gonna help the ukes win this war.

Gen Jack Keane: For Ukraine’s offensive to reach its full potential, which will likely begin in the spring, they still need more air defense systems, longer-range artillery, armor, armed drones, fighter jets and most urgently, Ukraine needs the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), which can hit critical Russian targets currently out of range. These targets include the military bases, fuel and ammunition depots and staging areas for Iranian drones in Crimea.

"Suggestions: 2) There was for a time claims that Russia was extracting semiconductors from washing machines and using them to build weapons. Russia has a semiconductor industry of its own. TMSC does provide most, to both the US and Russia, but Russia, cut off from that is not helpless. This was an absurd rumor."

"These folks need to be locked in a room watching “Dr. Strangelove” over and over and over again until they “get it”."

Get what, exactly? That Terry Southern was one of the most overrated screenwriters of his obnoxious 60s generation? Soft-porn sewage like Barbarella, which made Hanoi Jane enough money that she felt comfortable betraying her country? Or the sacrilegious, unwatchable garbage that was Southern's film adaptation of The Magic Christian?

As a matter of policy and negotiating strategy, Russians talk nuclear escalation but do not do it because of the risks and drawbacks. Yet the longer the war goes on, even the small chance of Russian use of nuclear weapons becomes cumulative, so an early victory is the best way to reduce that possibility.

Gen. Keane is a solid but conventional military analyst. The consensus opinion in Washington when Russia invaded was that she would win due to superior numbers. Keane bought into it, but that does not make him wrong now.

One of the most epic exchanges I’ve seen in years was from a FOX News segment where Tucker Carlson was interviewing one of these globalist/fascist/military types. The guy he was interviewing (I think it was a retired general) said that Carlson didn’t know what the hell he was talking about and said his brand of “isolationism” was not in America’s best interest … to which Carlson replied:

”When was the last time any of you won a war?”

Since the last American ship sailed out of Tokyo Bay in 1945, the U.S. hasn’t played to win anything.

FOX News and the MSM love war. The more horrible things that happen make big money for news outfits. They even design their own music and graphics to make professional productions of it.

It disgusts me. Neocons mean war and neocons mean big money.

Most people thought it would turn into a Russia-Afghanistan redo, but, the Ukies somewhat unexpectedly did much(!) better than the Afghans did in the early stages of the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. That in turn pushed the conflict into more of a WW1 style war (but with more modern weapons.)

Solely from a tactical standpoint, the problem there is we only sent 20, and only the low end munitions.

Just answer the question. Are YOU of the opinion that the US can win a two-front global thermonuclear war against Russia and China?
