I was in a store awhile back, and maybe 20 feet ahead of me there’s this guy who’s open carrying (it’s legal in my state). His back was to me, and he was looking at something on a shelf.
If I were nuts and wanted his gun, I absolutely could have taken it. Easiest thing in the world.
I get that there are problems with concealed carry as well. But yeah. I agree with you.

We currently have three Long Haired Chihuahuas. The male thinks he is the boss of everybody. Including the Beagles(that we keep separated).
A couple nights ago I was giving my wife a hug in the kitchen.
He comes up behind me and puts his front paws up on my legs and starts growling. He was protecting my wife from ME. Basically, hey get away from my Bitches.
I think we’re long past it, but most of the time I temper my comments.

Yes, West Springfield at the Big E.
They were there this past week from Weds night through Sunday afternoon. They always stay at a Hilton Garden Inn right near the Basketball Hall of Fame. It is pretty safe there. Sometimes they stay a couple exits south into CT.
They show Long Haired Chihuahuas, Beagles and Dobermans.
Like they say don’t p*ss off an old man... He will just kill you.

Yes, I was informed of their longevity after my wife bought him. I said: “you mean we have to keep this little bast#rd for 20 years?”
I’m kidding. He is fine as long as one of the females is not in heat. Then he literally becomes crazy.
The thing about Chi’s is that they are very possessive and jealous. We have the male(4), his daughter(3) and her daughter(6 months). He will be cuddling up to me one minute and then next minute he is a crazed demon.
For example, he will be cuddled up to me in bed. I will get out of bed and IF I come back and touch my wife, he will try to bite me.
The mother of the baby female Chi is now really jealous of the attention we give to her own daughter.
‘Situational awareness’, Margie...geez.
I don't know about friendlier but certainly more polite. Just be careful not to be charged with brandishing a firearm.
